A's want 1-game divisional series playoff
Gotta love Lew Wolff. Instead of a 5-game divisional series, he prefers a do-or-die 1-game playoff. I think that's a great idea -- as long as you're not the better team. If you want a 1-game playoff, then why not let EVERYONE in the playoffs, Lew? That'll make things even MORE exciting! What a ding-dong.

maybe we should play a 16 game season too
and start using a football instead of baseball. then just get rid of the infield dirt. then just rotate the field about 90 degrees, get rid of the outfield walls and lets just play football. oh wait, this is baseball…not the nfl. had me.

The Reason is...
IF the A’s ever make the playoffs again, with their tiny fanbase, they would actually lose money in the postseason due to no-shows.
When I'm not at the stadium, I'd rather be watching my Halos back in Costa Rica!
