Reliever Mark Eichhorn was a sidearming Scot Shields-type setup man who had some impressive seasons with the Angels. He paved the way in games for Bryan Harvey, a great tandem for shortening games.

he actually was a starter before he settled into that role....and with the halos. I was a big fan of his.

There were actually a couple of pitchers on the team one or two particular years named Mark. Mark Eichorn and Mark something or another….i can’t remember.
