Forgive Me Halos Heaven

For I have sinned. I bought a big-screen TV, but I didn't go to Howard's.

hahahaha

we just did the same thing.

but there’s no Howard’s in the high desert.

Kotch would've had that.

Just checked

I feel better… The nearest Howard’s to me is in Long Beach, and I’m in the West Valley.

It was a

46" Sharp LCD for $900 ($899.99, if you want to be technical).

Sears doorbuster.

I broke my own vow of never setting foot in a mall on Black Friday for a $500 savings.

That's fine, as long as nobody was trampled to death in the process.

Howie's overrated...

at least according to what I was reading on this board at the close of the season.

Maybe if enough Angels fans don't buy at Howards

we won’t have to suffer thru their terrible commercials.

When I'm not at the stadium, I'd rather be watching my Halos back in Costa Rica!

You're no fun

Whatever happened to enjoying something particularly because it is terrible?

by Higz on Dec 1, 2008 4:45 PM PST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

hahaha

no fun eh? I should have elaborated a bit more as to why those Howard’s commercials are so terrible. It’s the monotone voices of Howie & Scioscia that drove me crazy. And who wrote those “skits”?? A 5 year old?

Here is the answer

ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA (TICKER) —The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on Monday protected themselves should any of their coveted free agents decide to leave this winter.

The Angels announced that they have offered salary arbitration to first baseman Mark Teixeira, righthanders Francisco Rodriguez and Jon Garland and lefthander Darren Oliver.

Teixeira............Everything else can wait.

Elston, Frank, and Ryan

If they were brothers whose father had a cattle ranch in Texas it would be named Where the Sons Raise Meat.

We bought our washer, dryer, and dishwasher at Howards in Santa Ana. I said I was an Angels season ticket holder but did not get a discount. Maybe I should have been wearing a Scioscia t-shirt. We go to so many Angels games (48 in 2008) that we do not need a Big Screen!

Just a side note

It came yesterday. And does it look PRETTY!!! Too bad Time Warner doesn’t have FSNWest in HD. :( But at least KCOP and the four-letter-network are HD.
