Peavy in angels cap
Here is a picture of Peavy This was made possible through an experimental procedure that required sawing off Chone Figgins' head and then implanting it on Peavy.
Notice how his head is held together by a wad of bubble gum. He definitely looks good in halo red IMO...Ninja if you are reading this PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN!
p.s. why does it have to be 75 words long?... i'll keep typing..ah there

I'm not sure if I am willing to let you on my Peavy bandwagon or not.
I don’t take kindly to sawing off Chone Figgins’ head to suit our purposes. Is that blue rasberry gum there?
Recipient of the 2008 "The Iron Man" award from scottnak of Halos Heaven!
Indeed it is
I used a dull steak knife and strip of raging blue raspberry Hubba Bubba gum tape for the operation.
How about this handsome devil
I would love to see this on the jumbotron as he steps up to the plate after a Teixeira rbi double and vladdy warming up on deck.
Too bad
we can’t afford both Tex and Manny. But just for fun, here’s how I might make out the lineup card:
1) 3B Chone Figgins
2) CF Torii Hunter
3) LF Manny Ramirez
4) 1B Mark Teixeira
5) DH Vladimir Guerrero
6) RF Kendry Morales
7) C Mike Napoli
8) 2B Howie Kendrick
9) SS Brandon Wood/Maicer Izturis
Chone Figgins is the obvious leadoff candidate. I put Torii in the 2-hole because of his speed. He doesn’t have a great career OBP but his walks have increased ever since 2005 and his OBP was a very respectable .344 this past season. Also, despite his aggressive hacking mentality at the plate, he doesn’t strike out as much as you might expect. 108 K’s isn’t too bad. Lastly, his production would likely increase across the board with Manny hitting behind him and knowing that, he might be inclined to take a few more pitches knowing that if he can’t get the big hit, Manny, Tex, or Vlad all will have a shot. IMO Manny and Tex are interchangeable but I put Manny in the 3-hole because I feel he is the best natural hitter in that lineup and so Tex moves to the cleanup spot. Also, against RHP, Tex gives a lefty bat to split up the two righties, Manny and Vlad, to create more potential match-up problems for opposing teams. I put Kendry between Vlad and Napoli for similar reasons that I put Tex in between Manny and Vlad. Also, I feel Kendry is a better overall hitter than Napoli despite not having as much power. Howie gets stuck in the 8-hole because there isn’t really anywhere else to put him. Most people feel he’s the ideal 2-hole candidate but until he can learn to take a walk, I’m putting Torii up there. And whoever is the starting SS next season will bat 9th. Brandon Wood is the worst hitter out of that lineup (though not a bad worst hitter to have) and I like Soth’s philosophy of having speed at the bottom so Izturis fits the bill. Also, Mighty Maicer is probably a shitload better than other number niners in the AL. Though I would also consider moving Maicer up to number 2, moving Torii down to 6th and either keeping Naps 7th while moving Kendry down to 8th or having Kendry and Naps move down to 7th and 8th respectively.
I know I’m getting way ahead of myself. I just like pondering lineups. X_X

I'd rather
the Angels get Tex and the Doyerz get Manny but I like Manny as a plan B for the Angels since there is a realistic possibility that the Angels lose out on Tex and there is also a real possibility that Ned Colletti screws up the Manny negotiations. I’ve been a fan of both teams ever since my Dad first started taking me to ballgames since he’d take me to both California/Anaheim Angels games and Dodgers games regularly. At the time, the Angels were more geographically convenient for us (they are still more geographically convenient for me) but my Dad lives in Walnut now. But even then, he worked in the City of Industry so he had a lot of work buddies who had season seats to the Dodgers to score tickets off of so that’s how we started going to a lot of Dodger games. There I said it. I’m a fan of both teams. Sue me.

But for what it's worth
I usually prefer UCLA to beat USC in whatever matchup due to a semi-personal bias against UCLA. You see, I was forced into high school band by my mom and I hated it and our school had USC colors and the assistant band director during my first two years was a USC alum and so our fight song was “fight on”. So a lot of the bandos jumped on the USC bandwagon and since most of the bandos were annoying stupid bastards that I hated, I took joy out of their emoness whenever USC lost. And also, I got sick of playing “fight on”. That song sucks.
But for the most part I don’t care. If UCLA wins, I don’t get overjoyed and if USC wins, it doesn’t bother me in the slightest.

I was not trying to be an ass, it just amazes me there are doyer AND Angel fans left in the world (I even gotta couple in my family).
YOU DON'T KNOW THE POWER OF THE DARKSIDE.....
I'm not even sure how an Angels fan ...
can hate the Dodgers organization. Give them kudos, as that is where Scioscia came from.
