New Year's Eve/Day Party/Hangover Thread
Happy New Year!
May 2009 be a great year for you and for Angels Baseball.
I pre-programmed this thread and split for Vegas. I will be salsa dancing with Missus Halofan at Midnight at a casino hotel showroom. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day?

I just got married a few days ago...
me and Mrs Higz will be eating chips and salsa at midnight and playing in the snow on New Year’s Day. (By playing in the snow I don’t mean in the Scarface or David Bowie sort of way)
Happy New Year!
Congratulations Higzy!

HAPPY NEW YEAR
Here is to a great 2009 Halo Season…
As for tonight, spening it with the three kids and wife making Pizza and playing games. Tomorrow the wife and I head to Cabo for a 5 day druise…Bon Voyage~
That depressed feeling in my stomach is the end of the 2008 Halos season!!!!
I went on a 7-day’er recently that was only $247 per person (inside cabin). Look for the specials, man. Gotta learn to shop efficiently.

I will be getting wasted
at the Knitting Factory in LA at Zane Years Party…a party hosted by Zane Lamprey (from the show Three Sheets, if you haven’t seen it you must. Its the best drinking show ever….not currently on the air, but hopefully it will be coming back soon).
I love that show!
I’m so upset that i didn’t think of that. On the bright side, that’s $200 I probably won’t be spending.
Great show...
and the event turned out to be really fun. I know someone who knows someone, so we didn’t have to shell out all that $$ to get in. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have gone either. :)
Hopefully one of the networks will pick his show up this year.
Mrs. red floyd and I
will be taking in dinner and a movie (Slumdog Millionaire) with some friends.

I'll be hanging out with my buddy Capt. Morgan
And probably end up passed out somewhere.

Hey! Do you remember Friendly Quality Dairy?
I went to school at Willis H. Warner Jr. High… the stank wafted ever so gently into my science class with Mr. Minor. I think they finally sold off the last cows after I graduated to Westminster High.
Witty .sig goes here.
Happy New Year, freaks.
May the Halo shine brightest in ’09.
As for tonight, I’ll be laying low with the misses and another couple playing some seriously competitive Mario Kart. Tomorrow’s when the gloves come off as I’ll be in Row 42 at the Rose Bowl watching PSU destroy the condoms.
WE ARE! (this should go over real well here…lol).
Go for it!
As a Banana Slug (Go SLUGS!!!!) I can honestly say that I don’t care which overblown college football team wins.

Nerf War
Two of my married friends just bought condos 100 yards from each other. They’re planning a grand nerf-war shootout in a capture the flag kind of ordeal. They’ve been modifying their nerf guns to remove safety features for weeks now. Beer and honor is at stake.
Then I’ll be showing up to work tomorrow at 5am. Not sure how well that’s going to work out.

Already 2009...
here in Korea. Recovering from a night of soju, aided by a late night stop in a ramen tent. Can’t wait to visit home in May, to include an Angels game (or 2 or 3), then home for good in October for hopefully an Angels run deep into the postseason.
Gonna go brown bagging in the French Quarter and watch the Gumbo Bowl Drop
It’s highly likely I will also engage in drunken pre-Sugar Bowl shenanigans by representing my other Team in Red and talk smack to ’Bama fans. All in good fun, of course…
Happy New Year to all of you at Halos Heaven!!!

Happy New Year my fellow Halo fans
we’re winning it all in 2009 because everyone thinks we won’t. that is all. have a great evening.
You know you're old...
when the only “drink” you’re gonna have on New Year’s Eve is a shot of NyQuil.
Happy 2009 to all. Can’t wait to see everybody at the Big A.
Happy New Years from Utah
It just turned to 2009 here in Alta, Utah. Unfortunately I am on vacation with the parents and therefore am stone cold sober. That being said I think 2009 will be very promising for the halos and am looking forward to many nights at the big A.

In Athens, Greece…
I’m pushing Haloisms on everyone out here…they don’t quite get it
Vlad The Impailer Strikes Again!!!
at the Rose Bowl ....
…. wearing my Ervin Santana # 54 Angels jersey and wearing a UCLA cap rooting for the Pac-10 to go 5-0 in bowl games. Roger and I rooted the Oregon Ducks to a victory in the Holiday Bowl the night before last. Happy New Year to everyone in the Halos Heaven universe!
I'm so old
I got my tv analog converter box working. It’s sad to be old and forgotten. I go to a few games, but only when a star pitcher like Halladay is on the mound.
I look forward to watching every game at home. I have this rabbit ear to digital converter box to PC stick for DTV watching and recording plus the regular cable running into it.
My resolution for the new year is to get close to the estranged relatives. As I said to my son, watching Angels baseball all season long is a great pleasure. I don’t follow football or anything else. Instead I read and spend time with people.
So here’s to all of you! May you all have a happy and healthy new year! Remember, you too will be ancient one day and hopefully your relatives and loved ones will have time for you.
Haps to everyone
I love ya all … having a hard time typing still. (most of you will thank god). go get em Angels in 2009 (ffs is it really that year???? I watched Jim Fregosi ffs)
