A really nice piece on how Torii is going to be awarding 100 students 4 year scholarships between 2009-12. This is the same guy who also brings 50 kids to every home game or something right? Regardless of how you feel about his contract, it seems impossible to argue that Torii has lost touch with whats really important in life. If only all the megastars with mega contracts were as giving and socially conscious with it.
