Default Profile Picture, Barack Obama?

Does anyone else keep thinking Barack Obama every time they see the image of the SB Nation "Fan" used all over the site including in our default profile photos?

I know... totally related to Angels Baseball, right? Well here... go to my flickr account and see the totally amazing photos of my Spring Training Road Trip!

Except that the SBN image has been around for a few months and Shep Fairey (Obama Postr designer) is notorious for borrowing from other sources to create his ~~art~~ designwork.

So Barack's posters can be linked back to the introduction of the SBN fan logo? Inspiration comes from all kinds of places. I was once told by my film professor Larry Paull(production designer for Blade Runner) that his love of White Castle was the inspiration for some of the design elements of the future Los Angeles he created for the film.

No problem.

I couldn't wait to add a bunch to the group after I uploaded them! I'm kind of addicted to flickr. It's so great to know all my photos are backed up in their original file size somewhere that I know won't crash forever. A hard drive with all my music and photos (luckily on flickr) was lost a few months back.

I'm so addicted to Flickr, too.

Losing my external HD with all my music and photos is one of my worst nightmares (especially the ones of my son). At least most of my pictures will be saved on Flickr.
