All star game in Anaheim in 2010?

just got a bulletin from one of the many angel fan sites im friends with on myspace, and it said the angels are the front runners to host the all star game in 2010. ive been waiting for this for a while, since the last time it was here i was 1. it isnt quite finalized yet and tampa bay and kansas city are also in the hunt. i think we kind of deserve it more than them though, we do actually go to our home team's games...

2010 All Star Game

When the game was in SF, to get tickets, Giants season seat holders had to buy two years worth of tickets to have the option available to buy two seats for the all-star game.

This was talked about last year

Personally, I really don't care too much if we get it or not. Yes, it is kind of a showcase of our franchise and facility, but as Rev alluded to, tickets would be hard to come by and expensive at that.

As for HR derby stuff, that would be cool I guess, but it just doesn't have the allure anymore like during the steroid days.
