You guys in California really do live in heaven, the Angels are in town for more than just six games and there is Jack in the Box within 200 miles.
Ortiz's 514 ft, homerun lifts BOSOX in Tokyo.

He hasn't pitched for the Angels this spring.
But did throw 44.3 innings of work for the Tigers in 2002-03, racking up an ERA of 7.71 with only 15 Ks.
Ain't no stoppin' us now. We got the groove!

Vin
I hate Vin Scully, why does he always leave out important facts? like the fact that Dodger Stadium has 11,000 more seats and those very well could be a reason they sell more tickets than the Angels. We probably have a better percentage sold.
Also forgets to mention that our ancient outfield have won many awards for MVP, rookie of the year, silver slugger, gold gloves, etc... and yet he doesn't fail to mention that his team is the one injured just after it.
Vin Scully seems to know more facts about every Angels player
in today's game than you would ever hear from Physioc in an entire season of games.

First Base Ump
I guess his favorite stripper goes on at 5 PM local time and he wants a seat near the pole.
This maybe a stupid question but...
Do you guys know how to get the MLB.com Gameday thingy to work?
Is it not available for spring training games?

Shields Hurt?
Bill Plunkett had this to say on his blog prior to today's game vs. the Dodgers:
"Of greater concern, Scot Shields has been shut down due to tightness in his forearm. Shields’ status will be re-evaluated day to day."

Panther of the Game?
