Going to Halos Games
I assume most people on this site are from SoCal, but I'm from Northern Virginia, in driving distance of the Orioles and Nationals. Over here, we can just decide on a whim to go to a game, and buy tickets at the stadium for any game. I was reading all the posts about tickets for the Angels games, is it hard to do that over there?
Also, anyone on the east coast going to the Nationals and Orioles series against the Halos in June and July? I can't wait!

I will be there
I drive from philly to see as many as I can. I am so excited that they are playing the Phills this year! OH MAN!
Yeah it's gonna be great having them here for the Nats, I get to see them an extra time this year, and I get a reason to go to the new park too.

It's not hard to go to the game on a whim
but you wont get very good seats. i did it a few times last year.
if you do, you'll just end up in the nosebleeds somewhere, unless you hit TicketExchange (which is now at StubHub)
Bring up Wood!!!
Here's why you can get tickets for any Orioles or Nationals game at the stadium:
It's the Orioles and Nationals.
From the Chicago point of view:
I am lucking that the Halos are in the American league because you can pretty much drive up to the Cell and get pretty good seats (the upper deck isn't as bad as it once was). However, on the North Side of town that is all different as single game Cubs tickets completely sell out (expect for days games in April) the first day they go on sale.
You guys in California really do live in heaven, the Angels are in town for more than just six games and there is Jack in the Box within 200 miles.
pre-2002...
you could walk up at Anaheim and get tickets day of game even on Fridays. This was very common, not every game, but I'd say about 90% of them.
I remember people recoiling in fear when I tried to GIVE AWAY some of my season seats during the great collapse of 1995. They did not want free club level tickets and instead chose to buy tickets on their own for some stupid reason. I'd offer them right as they were walking up to the ticket booth. Crazy.

It Depends
I've rarely had a problem getting what I consider a decent a single seat to any game day-of (excluding playoffs, opening day and YankSox). By decent, I mean Lower View MVP (between the bases), as long as I get to the stadium an hour before the game. The former Ticket Exchange was also an excellent source of game-day tickets.
If you're looking for a pair of tickets, though, it can be trickier.
There are ALWAYS tickets to be had; it's a question of how much you want to pay. I've purchased non-premium game tickets from the sellers just outside the stadium for face value as well, often with a parking pass thrown in.
Hell Yeah
Going to 6/24. Can't wait to see the new park, stand in awe for a moment, then watch the Angels stomp the Nats! Saw Carrasco's last game as an Angel last year in Camden Yards, but probably won't make the trip this year (being a law student definitely not good on the pocket book).
you look so good in red
you are so "east coast" ...
calling a wallet a pocket book. I have a buddy from Jersey we always have a chuckle every time he says pocket book.
Have fun out there. Go Angels!
