Weekday games to be played live on KLAA
Start spreading the news!
According to Terry Smith on Angels Tonight just now, starting next Monday the weekday games will be broadcast live.
A long national nightmare is over. [editor's note, by rspencer] Sorry about the non-poll below; I have no idea why this happened.
This Fan-Post is authored by an independent fan. Tell us what you think and how you feel.

Question plus a comment:
Will the game also be streamed FREE at MLB.com?
When I finally got the game today, I rather enjoyed the lack of commercials, plus hearing the pop of the glove during pitcher warmup between innings, and the natural crowd noise.

HEY GUESS WHAT
the Angels don't HAVE TO TELL US anything when they accomplish a certain task - they can negotiate away old contracts without ever mentioning anything about them.
They are trying to do their best under mounting pressure and constant complaining.
But what if they said "HEY FUCK YOU, no Spring games, dudes and dudettes!" well, guess what, the price of tickets would still be the same, no boycott you could start would do SHIT ...what are you gonna do, go root for the Kansas City Royals???
People - please get it thru your heads that this company we are customers of IS IS IS TRYING - and succeeding in giving us what we want - but they are not your big bad enemy and and they are not the kid who beat you up in 3rd grade, goddamn you all stop whining.

Funny, I was about to post the same thing
Not suggesting it warrants a banning, but come on already... it's SPRING TRAINING! It's MARCH! We're supposed to be excited baseball is back (and, oh, am I!). Save the complaining for real challenges the team faces later.

It's your blog, Rev
But there is no need to bully others into cheering along.
I agree with a lot of what you say here. They are running a business, and they don't have to tell us everything. I believe them when they say they are going to start broadcasting the games live next week, and I'm very happy about it.
It is nonetheless the first thing they've said about the subject that I believe, for reasons I've already make quite clear. This is not whining, it's discussing.
If you'd like to address any of my arguments directly, I'd be happy to consider them. You're generally quite eloquent.
Just calling me names, on the other hand, is unlikely to convince anyone who doesn't already agree with you.

Business does not run at internet speed
I just wanted to prove that most of the whiners can dish it out but they sure cannot take it.

Which still leaves me a whiner
Sure, I can take criticism, but, if you'll pardon me, I greatly dislike mere gainsaying and name-calling. It makes me feel as if I were caught in a Monty Python skit.
I suppose it's a matter of opinion, but I don't think I whined. I merely expressed an opinion that didn't comport with yours. I specified the reasons why I didn't like the situation, and why I felt that the front office's statements on the matter were specious. Meaning no disrespect, but your simple repetition of them does not make them any more persuasive.
In any event, I think that the front office's having made things right as of next Monday shows that they are willing to listen to those fans who care enough to speak up. That makes me very happy, and quite willing to put this matter to rest--if you are.

I think Rev ...
The proper (in my opinion) route that this case SHOULD HAVE TAKEN:
- They didn't broadcast spring games.
- We complain to the team.
- They fix it.
- We move on.
- They didn't broadcast spring games.
- We complain to the team.
- We complain ad nauseum on Halosheaven.
- We post evil messages about the quality of our franchise.
- They fix it.
- We still bitch and moan on Halosheaven.
