Some fond Ersty memories

Hitting a come from behind, extra inning, game winning 2-run double in April 2002
His kamikaze dives in center (too many to mention)
catching the final out in '02 and raising his arms to the sky
and of course his laser solo jack in game 6

I loved when

Ersty made that hit, and everyone started saying it's because he was a football player, and his response was something like - It had nothing to do with football, I was a kicker.

I also loved how he'd mutter at the plate. It looked like he was just repeating, "C'mon, c'mon, c'mon..."

"Erstad says he's got it. Erstad makes the catch!..."

I hate seeing these pics of him in other uniforms

Although, the Astros uniform is easier to take than the White Sux uniform last year.

I know he'd be the 6th outfielder on our roster, but I still irrationally wish he was on the team.
