i like the look and fit of the first one better than the third. The BP hat gets all puffy on the sides after you've worn it a couple times because of the elastic.

Don't buy the middle one. Pre-worn and frayed hats are for Red Sox bandwagoners who want to make it seem like they've been a fan for more than four years.

I'd go with the white and red.

I think the first one is too cheezy. nike trying to be hip hop or something.
i agree with angels4adam the second one will make you look like a cubs or red sux fan who is trying too hard. or maybe kinda like andy bernard, a 30 something who still shops at abercrombie.

but they're all lame. Sorry. I only aim to help. Nothing is classier than a New Era fitted. There are all kinds of styles to choose from if you want something different, and the newer on-field models are really comfortable. I myself am biased, as I have a bit of a sickness when it comes to Angel hats, or New Era hats in general. Example:

This is in addition to non-Angel hats, and the pile of "work out" hats (as you brilliantly put it) which includes my prized '02 Home Red that I wore to game 7 of the World Series, complete with beer stains. I break that one out when we badly need a rally. But anyway, bottom line: New Era fitted. I will get off my soap-box now.

but it sit on display on my shelf. I can't wear them. They sit too high on my head and have never quite felt right. That is what leads me to the red and white one. A Cubs fan (of the frat boy variety) pointed me towards the 2nd one, which I can officially say has been eliminated.

...and while I like the design and old school appeal, the flex fit hats don't fit quite like a true fitted hat. Also -- the BP hat, at least on me, feels like I can't pull it down far enough and falls off easily when running, etc. Could be my 7 3/8 melon combined with a healthy - and growing - white boy 'fro.

but they are all quite old and skanky. I gave some to missus Halofan to eBay as collectibles and she threw them out in disgust.

I get what people are saying about number 2 and the Sox thing, but it still looks quite good. Number 1 is nasty.

Funny story - I was shopping for a new Angels hat at Chick's last weekend and this kid and his mom were looking at Angels hats too. Every time the kid picked one out he said to his mom, "How about this one?" Everytime he asked, the mom said, "Oh that's ugly. Why do they all have those dumb-looking halos?" This went on for about 10 minutes, the mom shooting the kid down every time. Eventually the poor kid gives up and says, "I'll just get a Padres hat."

I swear I wanted to yell at that bitch so bad. What an idiot. Someday she'll be sitting by herself in a nursing home wondering why her son never visits her.

I do like the Nike hat with the '79 throwback logo on it. This black version looks ten times better. I would stay true to the fitted and go New Era. Here are some of the New Era Angels hats I have collected over the years. Personally the white LA Cooperstown is my new favorite. You can't beat the craftsmanship.
