All Star Break in Vegas

We're getting a group rate on hotel rooms for a Halos Heaven get together in sin city to watch the All-Star Game, drink our favorite beverages, wager money responsibly and have a good time. Rooms will be for Monday July 14 with a checkout on Wednesday, July 16. If we get a lot of people, the rooms could be $25 - 35 per night (we are not staying at the Bellagio - the rooms will most likely be in a middle class casino hotel Downtown).

The more people we get, the cheaper the rooms will be and if we book early the rooms will be even less expensive, so I am taking a roll call now. If you can make the commitment, say so here in this thread.

What's average age/persuasion?

I'm only 25, a little liberal, and a little tattooed up. But I'm always down for Angels baseball and booze, and knowledgable enough to talk it up. I know I'm welcome here, but events like this I'd always like to go to, but don't want to mess with the crowd. Let me know either way and I'll rsvp.

what was bad...

.. was that it wasn't an isolated incident, it happened numerous time. As if to say that it wasn't due to a faulty machine, but rather the gold spike really not having enough money to guarantee a 2.55 payout.

i'm in, of course

i want that bellagio ashtray back.

and i'd prefer not to have to stay up until 6am on the craps table in order to win my money back, but i'll never ask vegas a favor. vegas gives nothing and owes nothing...

and for all of you booze drinkers, i might suggest a nightcap at the Griffin on fremont ave. kinda pricey and possibly too hipstery, but a great jukebox and a nice hang for a mellow drink with friends.
