2010 All Star Game in Anaheim

YES! Angel Stadium will be the host of the 2010 All Star Game.

This is set to be announced momentarily, but before you make plans to be in your seat at the stadium on Tuesday July 13, 2010 understand that the Giants made season seat holders purchase 2007 and 2008 season seats to qualify to buy tickets for their seats at the 2007 All Star Game. Obstacles like this are inevitable. In other words, we can -AND WILL- enjoy the spotlight, but just do not expect any hometown discounts, folks.

nothing about this will be cheap

...and that is the price of being first class...

i'm a cheap date

if the missus isn't going with you, then i think you know which of your season seats "sub-holders" you should bring to the game...

will the whole platinum triangle development be done by then?

because if there isn't something to spotlight, i get the feeling there will be alot of comments about the great view of the 57 and the rats... heck, i get enough of that from my dodger fan friends already :(

great view

the pond, the 57, anahiem hills...i think our view is great....and maybe if the dodgers were winning division titles people would look at the field not the hills that the la city council forces so many of its minority citizens from.

In 2003

We only had to buy a 27 game plan to get tickets for the All-Star weekend. The tickets for the three days of All-Star festivities were almost as much as the tickets for the other 27 games combined.

FanFast is what it is all about

I went in 2003 and I must say that it was a blast. Their is so much to see, do and buy. Anyone in the area has to make sure they can get to that.

Trade Quinlan for Jack, they are both clowns.

Anyone selling that sweet GA wall clock?

hmm

id like to think id be there but 2 years in advance i can already guarantee the prices of buying these tickets resale will definitely not be worth it, especially considering baseballs getting more popular each year.

Not that expensive

2010 All-Star tickets will not cost you your first born child or your left nut. In 1989 in Anaheim I was given a reserved deck ticket as a birthday present that was about 15 rows up (counting the 400 level and 500 level rows--about row 6 in the 500 level) above third base. That ticket was purchased for $200.

In 1992 in San Diego I purchased a bleacher seat prior to the game in the Jack Murphy Stadium parking lot for $75. When I went inside I discovered that my seat was 18 rows behind the left field foul pole. I had an aisle seat and was able to lean to my left into the aisle and fair territory so that I could see the pitcher and batter without the pitch disappearing behind the foul pole. Before the game in the parking lot a joint was passed around. When Bush the Elder and Carlos Desalinated arrived in their limosines someone joked that perhaps the Secret Service snipers in the light towers would shoot us for passing a joint around. That clearly did not happen as I am still here.
