SL Bees
I don't know how many people pay attention to the AAA SL Bees, but they are dominating all opponents right now. They are 8-0, and Matt Brown, and Nick Adenhart are particularly nasty. And even better news, After starting off slow, Brandon Wood is now above the Mendoza line with 3 HRs and a 7 game hitting streak. Very good sign of things to come! Hopefully we won't lose a game all year, Go Bees!

Great stuff
I have been following them so far and everyone should see Brown's numbers, he is off the chart!
I'm gonna drop the hammer, and dispense some indiscriminate justice!

salt lake is off to a sizzling start but...
at the opposite end of the spectrum arkansas (AA) is off to an 0-6 start, ouch!
maybe
we should send a few guys down from AAA to help out....

The Travs are firing a lot of guys
Bunch of transactions lately, with some long-time Travs kicked off the team and some AAAA-types called in. Jordan Renz was released today to make room for OF Jordan Czarniecki and IF Adam Morrissey, the latter having been with the Travs most recently in 2007. (RHP Jesse Smith was DL'd and sent to Tempe with a sore elbow, in case you were wondering about the roster math.)
Also, the Travs signed former Cleveland prospect RHP Dan Denham and released 1B/DH Jesse Hoorelbeke.
Witty .sig goes here.
As a recent transplant
from OC to SLC, I'm trying to become a Bees fan. Going to the home opener tonight!
Excited to see that our future Angels are doing so well.
I'm not superstitious, but I'm a little stitious.
SLC lost tonight finally
11-9 to Portland.
Brown only went 1-5, but Wood was 2-4 w/a bomb...up to .250.
Except for Wood and KMo there are some incredible BA's on that squad thus far!

Great googly moogly
Another barnstormer in SLC today, with the Bees emerging on top 11 to 10. Brandon Wood had two more homers, putting him at 6 on the season now. He also struck out three times, leaving him at 18 in that stat. Morales went 3 for 5, and Matt Brown stayed hot, with a double and homer himself.

So, if Brandon were to play in 130 AAA games
HR = 78
SO =

oops
SO = 234
That is really good, I mean bad, I mean it would really be something.
I guess the 234 SOs would be okay if he hits 78 hr's!
