Feeling Blue in Santa Barbara

We still don't have our Halos back, but A big thank you to everyone who has lobbied to have the KCOP broadcasts back on the air in Santa Barbara.  Our local media outlets should now be keenly aware of the issue, now they will wait to see if we can maintain our rally cry.  We need to be persistent.

Please continue to call KEYT and ask for the general manager Cathy Jacquemin and tell her that you want their new station MyRTN to carry Angels games like their sister station KCOP.  KEYT's number is 805-882-3933.

Please also call the Angels at (888) 796-HALO so that they understand how much we want our Angels back on the air.  Since Arte is a marketing wiz, I feel confident that once he is aware of the problem he will help to make it right.

Rumor has it that the Santa Barbara media decision makers are fans of that Blue team and this is a ploy to retake control over our media market.  I can't see Arte being outsmarted by McCourt when it comes to media and advertising.

In Arte we trust! Go Halos!  Come back to Santa Barbara!

no can do

Dr Rev - I wish I could watch the Halos at a sportsbar. These KCOP broadcasts are blocked on local tv and blacked out on satellite and baseball packages. You can't even watch the out of town network feeds and the sports bars cannot get the broadcasts. We are literally blacked out unless a sportsbar had an illegal hookup.

We try to come south to see as many games as we can at the Big A and we even make a yearly pilgramage to Tempe for Spring Ball. The kids and I are all bummed, hence all the effort to ask other true Halo fans to come on board and help us out.

If you have any connections with the ball club, please help us out. I can tell you that I have introduced many Halo fans to your site so they can get the up to date info.

Thanks for making it possible, may Halo brother.

Arte will save us.

MLBtv

works fairly well (after all the needed downloads). The new high speed feed is almost as good as watching on TV, and light years better than nothing.

Lamest poster of all-time.
