well deserved
'cause as it turns out, scotty DOES know...how to pitch
Northeastern University Huskies: Mediocre hockey, guaranteed.
I am going to hunt you down and kill you
my name is Scott, and I am reminded every day by juvenile college hallmates that my first name is, in fact, a prominent one in a pop rock song.
It's likely shaved 10 years off my life to hear it referenced.

If you have a God
thank it.
Even if you don't, thank it:

I've never actually heard the song all the way through, or seen the movie. I just know that every college roommate I have had DOES know the song and movie.

Is the whole staff possible?
Great outing by Magic, Shields was clutch and Frankie was 1-2-3
Quite an awesome game.
Jack in the Box and the Angels
My winning combination
Yeah... Voodoo
I say give it to Voodoo. He had a rough first, but settled down and threw 61/3 good innings.
Angels fan since '67
better not say anything good about Frankie!
He is selfish, he is the reason we lose if we ever lose and never the reason we win, oh, and he’s the antichrist!
Jk, great game! Nice to see Frankie back.
Angels win, and Lindsay Soto on Angels Live.
And I thought this was going to be a bad day.
The Hunt for a Red October ...and please keep telling Clutch to chill!
Can we bench
HGH yet. OMFG.
Stay on the damn bag!!
Great game by Santana against a tough lineup in a hitter's ballpark.
I missed most of the TV broadcast, but was Jennings "fastball" really only 84 mph? (according to CBS Sportsline Game Center). Good thing the Angels won this game.
I watched the 9th. That was the best fastball command Frankie has shown so far this season. Velocity was still down (91 mph), but maybe as the ankle gets stronger he can pick up a couple of clicks on the gun.
Ain't no stoppin' us now. We got the groove!
Night Train pitching away.
Threw 7 innings of 3 run ball. Not too shabby really. 7 hits, 1BB 6 K's. Pretty good game.
Also, we now have 6 homers out of the catchers spot. That seems odd somehow.
~Till the Halo burns out...
Scotty Doesn't Know
would be a kick ass theme song for this season. Believe in the Shields!
Jack in the Box and the Angels
My winning combination
F* the LA Times
"Angels win despite Santana's shaking outting" is the title of the article.
First line of the actual article? "Ervin Santana rebounded from a three-run first to pitch seven strong innings."
Is the LA Times trying to mess with his confidence now? Seriously? Give it a break. He had a rough 1st, but settled down to provide more than a quality start and deserve the win.
Willits for ROY! Oh, wait... Um, Kendrick for batting title? Yeah!
I'd also accept this if I saw an article titled
"Saito serves meatball, McLouth serves Saito blown save on 3 run bomb"
But, well, I don't.
Willits for ROY! Oh, wait... Um, Kendrick for batting title? Yeah!
GREAT OBSERVATION
licking the Dodger Dog one game at a time.
Although if Santana reads the papers at all it would likely be LA OPINION, where every sports story starts off with the player's national heritage: La Domincana Ervin Santana y El Cubano Kendry Morales son los hombres mas guapo en las ligas mayor de beisbol, o si que piensas una slumpbuster esperando al aeropuerto John Wayne para las Serafines.

All I got out of that was
gibberish gibberish gibberish SLUMPBUSTER gibberish gibberish gibberish.

rofl
Translation: Ervin Santana, the Dominican, and Kendry Morales, the Cuban, are the most handsom men in MLB, or if you think a slumpbuster is waiting at the airport John Wayne for the Angels.
