Light Up The Lonestar
Panther of the Game: Gary Matthews, Jr.
With the bases loaded, Matthews hit an opposite field double to clear the bases, giving the Angels the 3-Run cushion by which they won the game.

Panther - Angel Bullpen
No Runs!
Great series, hopefully the first of many sweeps.
Jack in the Box and the Angels
My winning combination
its a toss up between the pen and gmj
but i think gmj deserves a little love around here. he does have 10 rbi…and made at least one catch vlad more than likely wouldn’t have out there.

GMJ ...
had been DP’ing every big opportunity recently. He stepped up today and IS the panther of the game. Critical juncture, too.
That's .600 ball after three trips thru the rotation
The rotation minus its two best starters from last year, that is.
Also, we’ve been playing .604 ball since July 1, 2006. Back around when Mike Napoli and Lil’ Weave became permanent fixtures. How anyone thinks this is an 87-win team in this crap division is just beyond me.
amen
and FYI, with the A’s loss and our win, we are back in first place.

The one that was hitting on the Rev.

Kotch
Got us back in the game and changed momentum with the dinger.
He’s becomming quite the little thumper.
and how about that Figgy-shizzle???
figgins is absolutely unstoppable right now. how do you like figgins getting the ichiro treatment as they IBB his ass right before GMJ makes them pay for it? beautiful!!!
my picks
are missing, apparently. I remember what they were (eleven/four/four). I remember posting them in the pregame thread, yet they did not appear. I suppose it’s possible I hit preview but never continued with “POST.” Weird.
Hm.
Two people missing their picks?
That’s certainly interesting…. I guess I’ll see if Rev can dig something up with the SBNation guuys….
As for your points uhh… I’ll think about it…
Chart it up! Game on!
After thinking about it
I’m gonna have to go the “Sorry, Out of Luck” route…
It’s happened a few times to me last year, where I coulda sworn I posted but didn’t…
I’ll keep an eye out for this possible problem in the future, but now… gonna have to leave you two with a no-score for the day.
Chart it up! Game on!
thanks for the results
very nice 2 out of three

PANTHER! PANTHER! PANTHER
Panther? Why don’t you just call the player of the game "TINKER BELL" I mean how Fuckin gay do you have to be to call a grown man "PANTHER"! You geeks make me sick to my stomach! And by the way, are you trying to say that GMJ is an ANGRY BLACK MAN? Or an UNCLE TOM with the red-haired Black Panthers! That is Filthy and I am disgusted! Rev, you and your crew are a bunch of self absorbed wanna-bees! Go back to the Star-Fleet Academy and roll you 10 sided dice while you play naked twister with each other! Good Night!
CHOWDS SUCK! Knight rounds third, Mets WIN!
someone phoned it in
from up and down the west coast, from Baja to the Canadian Rockies—LET ME HEAR YOU SANTEE!
Imagine this guy might be running around our stadium...
We should send him up to the funk blast zone up north, really far up north.

MEATHEAD! MEATHEAD! MEATHEAD!
Hey, Meat, don’t sound so intelligent next time. You’re making the rest of us feel dumb.

Is this Hacksaw Jim Duggan?
Did you just hit yourself over the head with a 2×4?
HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
3 more GIDPs today!
Puts us on pace for 248, which would shatter the all-time record into leetle tiny bits. I’m pretty sure that’s more times than the entire 1972 Angels got on base.
its going to take a lot of self control...
but i promise you that i wont even give you the satisfacion of a reaction ever again.
