I swear he's the luckiest ball player out there.
He's been horrible for what ? 3-4 years now and there always seems to be another team that wants to take a chance at him. I guess im still bitter at the guy who single handedly blew it for us in 06'

They signed him as essentially a #8 starter to add depth/insurance in case a couple of starters get hurt. They dumped Claudio Vargas’ $3.5M salary, and picked up an equally worthless pitcher for less money.

I’d rather have the Royals closer than Frankie. So paying $10M for a velocity in the low 90’s pitcher is as insane as signing Weaver.
