I don't buy the reggie kool aid.
But I wouldn’t mind if Cowbell could learn to play a corner outfield position in the MLB.
Reggie has posted good OBP in both the minors and majors. He'd be an ideal #2 hitter.
GMJ has never been very good in either OBP or SLG.

He faded in the second half. I saw him kill a 9th inning rally at the
Big A trying to foul off a fastball.
Plus his defense is questionable. He’s quick but he seems to lose shallow fly balls
Despite his fade, he still managed a .370 OBP in the 2nd half.

"Appearances" aside
his bottom line in runs allowed does not match his win-loss record at all. Stat boys can love whatever stats they may, but he consistently manages to avoid allowing a ton of runs (with the exception of the occasional game like the one before this), and his win-loss record isn’t showing it right now. 1-3 with a 3.60ERA isn’t fair. 3 quality starts and one win.
