I nominate batters 2-4 in our order
All 3 had multiple chances to break this game wide open!

Vlad, Aybar, GA
Amazing but Weaver’s WPA was actually pretty close to zero, which means he kept his team in it:
Witty .sig goes here.
AND THE BLAME GOES TO....
Too many nominees to mention, losing sucks, but the Jose Cuervo will help me forget. Whats worse is we lost to KC, which is basically a landlocked Choakland!!!!
YOU DON'T KNOW THE POWER OF THE DARKSIDE.....
Please...
Don’t ever drink Cuervo…That is really 51% tequila and 49% neutral grain spirits…i.e. whatever they want..drink only 100% agave tequila…It will mention that on the bottle if it is…
You don't win friends with salad.
Guerrero
Sorry to say, but it is.
Why doesn’t Weaver get any run support? In his four starts thus far, he’s received just 11 runs. That’s just 2.75 runs per game. Three times now, he’s allowed three runs or fewer in a start. In one start, he won 2-1. He’s now lost the other two. The Angels are having 2.75 runs per game in his four starts. In the other games, the Angels are averaging 6.36 runs per game. I actually feel bad for Weaver. If he got any sort of run support, he’d be 3-1 right now instead of 1-3. Poor kid.

And now for at least 1 positive
Kotch was really good tonight. The tag on Gathright. The 2 RBI single after stinging the shit out of his hands on a good pitch by Paper Meche. Did he snag a ball out of thin air?
I don’t know which young stud-in-training I like more, Kotch or Howie. Leaning toward the Kotchman at the moment but only because he’s healthy. And for how long? Your guess is as good as mine but as long as he’s ::gasp:: clutch (meaning: gets hits when he should) I’m wearing #35. He kinda acts like GA at the plate sometimes but here’s hoping he grows out of that.
Halos split the series 1-1. Fuck.
We'll be fine.
Funny thing
Kotchman is already almost 1/4th of the way to Garret’s career walk total!

so what happened to vlad?
Yahoo! says its a bruised index finger..
Los Angeles slugger Vladimir Guerrero left after eight innings with a bruised right index finger, hurt on a swing in the seventh. The injury was not considered serious and Guerrero is day-to-day.
Here's to another season of baseball! Angels in '08!
With Vlad's GIDP....
.... we’re back on a 1.5-per-game pace, which would smash the previous Major League record by 67.
DEFINATELY VLAD
Should he still be batting 3rd???? Does he come through more than he doesn’t?
Pleeeeazzzzzzze Frankie, close the games, don't make them closer!
sorry my BOTG
goes to the Home plate umpire. Called a weird/uneven strike zone. Bad call on Vlads double play it was a foul, that could have killed a rally. And it ended an inning
Relax... Everything is fine
