I grew up in OC and got to see Nolan, Carew, etc. Took a long break from the horrid Angels in the late ‘80s-most of the ‘90s. Got rejuvenated after meeting another lonely Angels fan in LA (the soon-to-be Rev) in 2000.
Hawaii
I live on Oahu.
I have family friends in Irvine, and they took us to an Angels game during one of our visits. The Halos won, 11-1 (chicken wings!), since then I’ve become a die-hard Angels fan.

I was born in Hawaii (Honolulu), so I get a silly pride about seeing folks from there on HH. I’m a total haoli culturally but of course I’d like to think of myself as a true kama’aina.

love your moniker
A friend of mine who hangs with the Angels told Napoli about that HH nickname, and he laughed and said he dug it.
None of the above.
Let’s make it interesting. Can you guess where I have been blogging from (ps no help from Rev).
Hint
It is not a Country or a US State.

i think "chamorro" is an cultural/linguistic term
and “guamanian” is a geographical one. so technically, yes, i should’ve used “chamorro”.
wow
i just re-read my comment and realized that i sounded like a big dick.
sorry man, i wasn’t trying to be one.
john RIP samo
It can get confusing
Everyone who claims Guam as thier home are Guamanians. Chomorro’s are the indigenous group on Guam. Lots of Filipinos, white statesiders, korean, vietnamese, and others. I guess since I wasn’t born here, I consider myself more mainlander than Guamanian. My wife is Chomorro and Guamanian. Anyone born on Guam is a full fledged US citizen.

Ever heard of Olaf Henriksen?

How it happens:
Massmurderchewshit is the lousiest place on earth to live if you are not a blue-blazer prep school suckass spawn of the slavetrading elite that founded the “colony” back in simpler, raw sewage times. So they get out of hell, move to the West Coast, but carry a memento of their “heritage” with a Scarlet B – seeing as all of their Grandmothers took the Scarlet “A” way back when…
So I take it...

The Basement Computer Labs at Chapman University.
When I lived on campus I liked to look at the lights on the Big A from the top of the parking structure.
Chapman College 1974-1976
When I attended Chapman it was a college not a university. My last semester there (fall 1976) I lived in the Davis Apartments. Several years before I attended Chapman a football player died either in a game or a practice. His parents gave an endowment to Chapman College with the stipulation that there be no football team. It was not until this deceased player’s parents died that Chapman resurrected its football program. I recall during my first month at Chapman (September 1974) going to the Big A to see Nolan Ryan defeat Kansas City and the Chisox.
Currently I live and blog from east Orange. The nearest major intersection is Chapman and Jamboree. I have also blogged on Halos Heaven from Kathmandu (Nepal), Manali (India), Phoenix and Atlanta.
Oh, and got to add to that...
I was a baseball fan way before I moved, even played it (and it’s not very popular) in the Netherlands for several years.

I don’t get it, the games are broadcast on San Diego ESPN Radio 800 and i can sometimes get 830 down here, why couldn’t they show the Halos on FSN? Especially when the Padres are in their own league and have their own channel.
I wonder if there’s a way to get the games on television down here, any ideas?
