The Big Road Trip
Forget the Mariners. These two teams are the road to the World Series. Although it is early, we would like to make an immediate impression.
We are without our top two starters. We are without our star 2nd baseman. On the other hand, we are deep at all positions, and we are ready. Bring it on!
Boston's domination was last year. They are old and we are young. Detroit beat us out for whats-his-name. So what. I say we take 4 of 6. Let's Rock.

Apologies to those who think less than split
I’m a little fired up. But your comments are more than welcome.

worries worries worries
Yeah, always comes down to Mini-Evil-Empire for us, the lodestone, really – Beckett is tough, Matsuzaka is tough, we got a great shot at Lester with Saunders on Wednesday Morning. Anything better than 1-2 is total gravy.
Detroit cannot be as bad as it has been early on but I hope we take 2 or sweep but not going to die if this road trip is an awful flat tire – it is early, anything can happen.

I think that Detroit is
actually pretty awful. They have the worst ERA in the league and play terrible defense. I think that the weekend leg of this trip will be a great time to catch a down team and really stick to them.
As for Boston, just got play hard and hopefully the Halos can catch a break because they are a tough club and have their horses going.

Time to make a statement in Boston
Take 2 of 3 or better from BoSox!
4 of 6 sounds good to me!
