My prediction for this series is LLW. I hope I am wrong, but it has been a while since the Halos won a series in Fenway.

With a great bullpen, it’s imperative to score four or 5 runs against Boston’s starters. Can’t expect to score much against the bullpen.
Becket still has a big era (over 5) and is making, I believe, his 4th start.
This road trip should separate the men from the boys.

I wonder if Beckett’s lower back stiffness will come back, or not.

And I’m so bothered that this game is on KCOP – that means I don’t get the Angels feed on Direct TV and I have to settle with watching the Boston feed. UGH! It’s going to be almost unbearable to listen to with the man love they spread around for Ortiz and Ramirez.
I'm not superstitious, but I'm a little stitious.
1 ?
If we only score 1, I will eat my disc drive.

If Beckett had pitched...
you would have been sucking disc, impaler. Hate to say it, but I believe in the Red Sox domination over us. I hope the Angels can break that spell soon.

Im going to get hammered and obnoxiously curse at the TV for the entire game. You know, be one with the enemy.

Sea-at-ha-ha-ha that's funny.

Get well later Josh.
Scioscia, "Roll the hole!"
So
how does this affect today’s contest? Is it still # of pitches thrown by the starter? If so, then I say as follows.
88 pitches
5 runs
Kotchman
i think you have to start over every body gets a second guess that replaces their first guess
and those that are not able to change their guesses in time will just have to stick with their original answers.
Steal 2nd or die trying
man are we gettin' lucky this season...
how many more times can aces get scratched for us?

WTF?!?
I set my DVR this morning to record the game and it said it was on FSN. Great, so now I’m going to miss the first 5 innnings. (Sorry for whining, Santa Barbara).
I did the same thing!!!
The official website says FSN, so someone please let me know if the REV has it wrong or if there was some change posted.
I am going by the paper pocket schedule
The Angels released this schedule in February, perhaps they changed the game broadcasting affiliate an I should consult the team’s website form now on, damn, that seems so simple in practice…
My TV (Dish Network) has it scheduled on FSN today.
But it was scheduled and listed as being on KCOP last night, so something changed over night.
Scioscia, "Roll the hole!"
Let's get these stinkin Red Sox!

Howie drinks your milkshake! He drinks it up!
i was right in the middle of posting the same thing
sigh….. i’m getting upset a 2 things. well, actually 3.
1) Sosh’s stubborn-ness
2) Garrett protecting Vlad
3) The catching platoon.
i realize that both of our catchers are good, but for the love… pick one and let him take the job. when he slumps or needs a break, THEN put the other guy in. how are they ever going to be able to go a whole year if you keep this stupid platoon??
and how in the hell is Kotchman ever going to be able to hit lefties better if Robb “Effing” Quinlan keeps getting those starts?
sigh…

I agree with point 2...
...I’m not totally sure what you’re trying to say with point 1
As for the last one – If there’s one position I’m less likely to 2nd guess Scoscia on than catcher, I can’t think of it.
I see red people
as for point 1
i mean the stubborn-ness with the lineup.
there’s absolutely no change in it… ever

Game time changes- Picks
Happens all the time. If you pick Vlad and he doesn’t start, too bad. If they change the pitcher, too bad. Other wise it would be too chaotic.
