I assume Jon Garland can throw strikes that are not simultaneously meatballs ... Perhaps this is a safe assumption, perhaps this is the type of delusion that deep statistical analysis would cure. Perhaps a deep tissue massage would cure the accumulated stress from watching Meatball Weaver serve up a spaghetti-free plate of take-this-game-to-go last night...

...Boston HC got conformist in such a hurry that you couldn’t tell one band from the other … they made DC straightedge bands look like the paragon of diversity.

Talk about hypocritical…I agree, their Hardcore scene had maybe two good bands…only one I can think of off the top of my head that doesn’t pain me to listen to these days is SSD. Oh, and Converge…but that’s a newer band and i’m not ever sure how “Boston” they are as far as where they originated.

A guilty pleasure of mine since I was a kid has been the Bosstones.
