OC-Renteria Feud?
Speaking of missing OC, while browsing around ESPN.com after reading 4acesusa 's FanPost on Sports Franchise Rankings , I stumbled upon this article about an apparent feud between the man that helped bring us Jon Garland from the White Sox and Edgar Renteria, currently with the Detroit Tigers.
Apparently, the two Colombian shortstops, who play for AL Central rivals, are feuding about their interests in the Colombian winter league.

OC for sure!
After reading that story, it seemed like Renteria was crying over spilled milk and that OC has been trying to end this feud but Edgar refuses.
Columbian??? as in the District of Columbia
Or are you talking about the two talented shortstops from Colombia the country spelled with an O not a U. I’m not trying to be a dick but we spell it wrong all the time and it’s annoying. In fact I had coffee from “Columbia” the other day at Starbucks…...... maybe that’s why it tasted like $hat.
That coming from a guy who thinks it is
Quinland instead of Quinlan. When did Q invent his own nation? ;)
Arte, please buy the Angels back from the Red Sox...they've owned us long enough.

OC side
i mean the “RENTERIA FAMILY” or whatever they called themselves… somebody thinks a lil too highly of themselves… renteria may be the more famed player in colombia but im pretty sure OC is more popular here in the states… esp. shining for the sox in their 04 season

Did anyone notice in last night's game...
...when Eybar hit the single up the middle (HGH, Vlad, GA, that’s what clutch is…!) how he went down and got that low/away pitch then threw his bat away to the side? TOTALLY reminded me of OC. Instant recognition!
Damn, I have been so impressed with Aybar recently, I almost forgot to call him Eybar! He keeps it up I may have to find him a new nickname! Incredible talent! That throw from his ass last night behind 2B…on the $ with mustard…simply incredible!

Yeah, but...
does Aybar un-tuck his shirt in 30 nano-seconds after the final out is recorded?

OC is a badass
and it made me sad to read that bit about the all star team, OC was snubbed of being an all star twice, last year and 06. in 06 he carried the angels on his back the entire first half. really interesting feud they have, more interesting now that they are division rivals

I really do miss Orlando
I hope he just wrecks everybody in the AL, except us.
That said, I’m glad we’re getting a chance to watch Aybar…talk about range.
