Fuck it all, I can't figure out how to format.. but all the info is there. If someone with mod powers could fix it, that would be wonderful, so I don't look like an idiot--but then most of you already know I am.. :P

FINGERS CROSSED
Soon hopefully we can have him back instead of using his absence as an excuse as to why we lose to the Angels in Fenway… oh wait…

I made it to the game.
Wearing #39, Lackey looked Good. Striking out the first batter in 3 pitches. His fast ball seemed to have good velocity (90-95) He struck out 5 and gave up 3 hits, 1HR (a bomb to RF) I posted some pictures in fanshots. (pics not so great)

Not bad for his first rehab start...
You can’t look at the 3 hits and the HR and worry about him too much. It was his first time on the mound in competition of the season. He was most likely going through his reps, throwing all his pitches, and not pitching by the batter/count/men-on situations.
Throwing all of his pitches with life and in the zone, challenging hitters is what you want to see in these rehab starts. 5K’s and 0 BB through his first 2 innings of the season is just what the Big Club wanted to see.

Goobie said on the Friday postgame show...
...that Lackey felt good this morning…that was encouraging! Have not seen that in print anywhere…
