Nate Haynes beats Red Sox

With a single through the hole in the bottom of the eleventh to give our favorite AL East team, the Rays, a 5-4 win. Looks like the Sox have been having some trouble with the Angels, current and former, lately. He got mobbed after getting around from first and as I've previously mentioned, Timlin sucks, and is the losing pitcher.

Northeastern alum Carlos Pena had a pinch hit in the game, but was replaced with a pinch runner and the inning later ended.

I miss Haynes, I liked him, and he kept Figgy in line. Fun to watch. :-)

It was a beautiful thing...

I love my Extra Innings package! Crawford screaming around 3rd to score easily on a shitty throw from Drew! :)

ps….loved your guide on how to beat the BoSox! 2nd only to my avatar! :)

Here is my original post in the 4-3 thread...new nickname for Nathan

Nathan Haynes ie the Nathanator …just knocked in the game winner vs BAHSSTIN! Woohoo! Way to go Nathanator!

Damnit, didn't see you posted it before me. Sorry about that, I'll delete it and post my "fanpost"

as a comment to your “fanpost.”

Willits for ROY! Oh, wait... Um, Kendrick for batting title? Yeah!

Yeah... I was excited, too. haha

Bottom of the 11th, Crawford singles. Crawford steals second. BJ Upton walks off Timlin. Nathan Haynes comes to the plate.

Works a couple of pitches.

Drills a ground ball single past a diving Pedroia into right center field!

Crawford scores!

Our ex-Angel hitting coach gets mobbed by his teammates at home plate!

And most importantly, the Red Sox lose a 3rd consecutive game. Forgive me for rooting for another AL team, but while my heart is with the Angels, you can’t help but root for the AL East underdogs who currently employ Percy and Haynes. If by some miracle we faced them in the playoffs (i.e. they made it there), I’d have no problem booing the “Rays,” but until then, go underdogs!

Willits for ROY! Oh, wait... Um, Kendrick for batting title? Yeah!

PAAAASSST A DIVING PEDROIA

ROY – no more – Go Jays ‘n Rays – equity in the East!

Gotta disagree about the Jays

For some reason, I really, really dislike them. It’s not warranted, but I do. My “wishlist” for how the AL East would end this year:

Rays/Yanks/Orioles/Jays/Sox

No basis in reality, just saying I wish it were that way.

Eckstein is on the Jays, so they are my 2nd fav AL East team

Do not trade Howie!!!

How can you not root for the Rays?

Love watching Maddon and crew!

Fyi, Glaus had to leave the game with an eye problem…or was that an I problem? Just another Glaus injury! That was before Erstad flied to LF…he has changed his stance. Still pains me to see Erstad in another uniform, it just isn’t right!

Maybe one day he can come back as a coach...

Or at least have Arte sign him when he is ready to hang them up so he can retire a Halo! I want to be at that game!

Yeah I miss Ersty

I’ve been checking up on Ersty every game that he’s in. It just isnt right not to see him in an Angels Jersey. So far he’s doing well.

19-1 SLC Bees

Wood and Brown at it again! Wood hit #8, ups avg to .278, CS, and an error, his 4th.
Brown 2-4, .398 avg

And now KMo and SRod go back to help them out! How good is this team?

I picked up Percy

For may fantasy team as a sentimental late round draft.

As of yet I have been pleasantly surprised.

Let's hope they cool off, though...

when the Halos arrive in town on May 9th.

Arte, please buy the Angels back from the Red Sox...they've owned us long enough.
