Vlad: 2000 Career Hits

Lost in the lame game on Saturday was Vladimir Guerrero getting his 2,000th career hit.
During 2007, Vlad's Age 31 Season, he became 10th all-time in baseball history with 3,520 bases up to and including his Age 31 Season. Yes, that is "IN BASEBALL HISTORY" ... He also ranks 9th ALL TIME in Extra Base Hits up to and including his Age 31 Season with 778 (Stan Musial is 10th with 775).
So by the end of 2008, Vlad's Age 32 Season (he turned 32 on February 9), we can only wonder where he will rank.
GO VLAD, Go Angels!

143 hits/year for 7 years will do it (3,000).
Doesn’t surpise me on the total bases and extra base hits. I suspect he’ll finish top 10 in both.
May need to cut down on the barbecue in the offseason!
