RIP ALBERT HOFFMAN
the father is dead... this post could be dedicated to so many important things, but will most likely degenerate into nothing. 1 gram feeds 10,000--that's twice more than christ's lousy bread and it feeds for a lifetime--a real sacrament. just ask doc ellis, the fucker got a perfect game out of it. clutched rosaries and scratches in the mound don't do that, now do they?
go hoffman!
speed on to the breasts of abraham!
go halo!
accept al into your sheepfold and don that tilted disc with pride.

Doc Ellis
it was a no-hitter, not a perfect game. Sandy Koufax didn’t need no rosary neither.

I was so wasted
i was so wasted
I was wasted
I was a hippie
I was a burnout
I was a dropout
you know I was out of my head
I was a surfer
I had a skateboard
I was so heavy man
I lived on the strand
I was so wasted, I was wasted
I was so fucked up
I was so screwed up
I was so jacked up
I couldn’t get any higher than that
I was so pilled up
I was so nebbed out

just got off work for that post… sorry for the historical inaccuracy. i still can’t believe ellis did what he did.
that was a big ol’ ball! And then sometimes it looks small. One time I
covered first base, and I caught the ball and I tagged the base, all in
one motion and I said, “Oh, I just made a touchdown.”
my signature sucks

"The Strand"
should be capitalized, it is a real place.

As I read this post...
I went with the Black Flag version as I sang along in my head. Which did you have in my mind?

I always go with Black Flag for that song. The Circle Jerks version is like a cover song. It IS a cover song.
Not to mention the fact that I think Keith Morris era Black Flag is punk rock that nobody can/will ever touch…Ron Reyes gets an honorable mention.
Whatever dude.

I had no clue
as to what the post was talking about until I read Yahoo! news and found that Hoffman was the discoverer of Lysergic Acid Diethylamid-25 (aka LSD).

What a tough year 2008 has been.
This random scientist dies…thanks for the drugs by the way.
Not to mention Herb Peterson, creator of the Egg McMuffin, and Danny Federici of the E Street Band…still broken up about both of those(im crying while listening to “Backstreets” right now).
Oh, and some dude named Chuck Heston.
Whatever dude.

Unfortunately
He died last week while awaiting trial for a supposed attempted kidnap. Apparently the jail he was in is being compared to the Shawshank, and so they’re looking into the details of what happened.
While I was trying to be humorous by mentioning this, it really did kinda suck. Kenneth Keith was my intro to the Howard Stern Show back when he was on KCOP on Saturday nights in the early nineties. I was surfing the channels at the age of twelve, and stumbled on him eating his own hair while trying to blow cigarette smoke through his eyes without vomiting (to no avail). I’ve been hooked ever since.
