This picture was actually taken by my dad (in 2006 i think?). It was at a game against, you guessed it, the Yanks. I wish I remembered the details, but the Angels were down by a bunch of runs and mounted this huge comeback. It was topped off by a Vladimir Guerrero grand slam that put the Halos in the lead.
This pic was taken the second the ball went over the center field wall and the Angels took the lead for good. My family and I (I'm the one in the blue Angels cap) were completely surrounded by these LOUD mouthed Yankee fans the entire game, which makes this pic of them all crapping their pants even sweeter. I particularly like the the look on the face of the gentleman in front of us, who had been leading New York fans in annoying chants all night.

The Vlad Grand Slam was in 2005...
specifically, July 21st:

I remember that game well, while sitting in some SWEET SEATS (given to me at about 5PM that night for free) in section 124 ... it was a hot night and I was a pool of sweat after yelling for 9 innings. My buddy who went with me is a loud-mouthed Jersey boy Yankees fan. Obnoxious fellow, for sure, but good for a few laughs. He was not happy with the outcome, but I sure was.
Thanks for reminding me of that game, however, we see it all the time at the stadium during highlight reels... cue Steve Physioc "Bernie Williams is back, he leaps, IT'S GONE! And the Angels have their first lead of the night!!" Listen for that highlight and that is the one you are talking about.
Also, another footnote to the highlight is...
that upon Vladdy reaching the plate, Figgy high-fives Vladdy so hard that Vlad nearly falls over. It was comedy.

i was at that game
it was one of the best i have ever been too. i talk about that game still today. it was on thusday jul 21 2005, first game of a four game series the angels ended up taking 3 out of 4. the best part about that grad slam was that i think vlad was in a little bit of a slump, they had just taken out randy johnson and put in tom gordon and vlad teed off on him. i remember there being a ton of yankee fans at that game being all loud cause new york kept hitting homeruns it was awesome to come back and win that one. truly unforgetable.
