Hunter Homers
What do you guys think the chance of Torii Hunter hitting 35 homers this year. and also- how many will vladdy hit? The pitching has gone down recently too. can their offense keep up to support their pitching for once. whatever happens, this year is special. i can already feel it, with hunter's home runs last night. this team just seems to have a lot of good chemistry. Could this year possibly end with a win in the series?? you betcha.

3 hr 8 games?
I'm too lazy to make sure, but if that is the pace, he will hit 56.25 dingers in 150 games.
Despite this, awesome hit Tory, that is why we pay you the big bucks!

Projected to 162...
3 in 8 games is 60 or 61 (it's 60.75).
4 in 8 games is 81.
Neither of these is likely to happen.

It would be nice if he continues at this pace, but in all seriousness I'll take under on the over/under 30 hr this season. He has quickly become one of my favorite angels, and I hope he hits 75 home runs, but he has only once before hit more than 30hr in a season and he is on the wrong side of the age curve to be improving much.

I will take the over
But I think you are probably not to far off on the under.

Better protection here
than in Minnesota.
I think blindly adhering to the age-curve thing can be a mistake. It's generally a fair guide for this, but there are enough people who don't age like everyone else.
