Attention Santa Barbara Halo Fans who want the Angels back on TV

Cox Cable in Santa Barbara told me that if enough Angels fans call Cox to request that the KCOP broadcasts be shown on another local Cox station, that they would be willing to start showing them again. It turns out the the management group at KEYT has decided to not show the games on their new Ch 13 station.

I ask that all Angels fans join their Santa Barbara Halo brothers to help get the Angels back on the air.

I am going to be in SB this weekend and since tomorrow night's game is on Channel 13, can you recommend a place to watch it? I will be staying at the Hotel Mar Monte so hopefully something within walking distance?

Angels in SB

If you walk up State St, you might be able to find a bar (SB Brewing Co or Sharkeez) - although they would have to have a MLB package to show this. You might want to call ahead to research - my guess is that it might be hard to find. Would be great for you to support our cause with a quick call to Cox - 805 683-6651 Gracias. Go halos!

Cox said that I would have to call My13 because it is their decision.

I called My13 and they said that it was up to Cox to choose to put in on another local channel. I hate the run around. Makes me even more determined. Go halos.

Just called Cox cable. EVERYONE PLEASE CALL! Even LA/OCers

After trying to pawn me off on someone else for a few minutes, the girl finally said customers or potential customers can put in a request that Cox carry KCOP. I made sure that my request included the specific reason of wanting KCOP for Angels games.

Everyone PLEASE CALL! They don't need to know you are not from SB. We may be snobby here, and the beaches may be overrated, but there are still many Angels fans in SB. It is the Monkey that binds us. But we are being kicked out of the club so to speak between this, the new AM 830 station that must be powered by a potato, and Ventura's 1520 dropping the games. Please, help a brother out!

After you call Cox Cable, then call KEYT

Ask for the general manager Cathy Jacquemin and tell her that you want their new station My13 to carry Angels games like their sister station KCOP. The number is 805-882-3933.
