Aybar not on All-Star Ballot
Maicer Isturis is listed as Angels SS. Does MLB even look to see who is playing? Aybar has been getting most of the starts although Izzy did start opening day.
Garrett Anderson is listed as DH not OF. He did get the opening day start in LF so I am not sure of the criteria MLB uses to determine where or who should be on the ballot.
Vladdy will probably get voted in due to popularity but Kotch deserves to be there.

All-Star Game: Cool or Lame?
LAME. The players don’t care, so why should I? All that BS about the home field advantage doesn’t mean squat if your team doesn’t make the playoffs, and that’s all these guys care about now. To make things worse, the popularity contest is going to lean East because those poor saps are stuck with such crappy weather that they don’t dare spend time outside—they’ll watch Sportscenter 4 times a day and blog their brains out just to pass the time.

That Sucks
Aybar has been one of the most electrifying SS in the American League this first month and he deserves to at least be listed on the ballot. Doesn’t make a difference anyways, Jeter will win the pop contest. Funny enough OC has a shot now that he’s almost playing for an East Coast team.

OC got snubbed last year...
but he’s a ChiSox so I couldn’t care less now.
Aybar should be on the ballot, but there’s always the write in spot at the bottom.
How about we all go out and do our best to write in the worst players in the NL, assuring yet ANOTHER AL victory and home field advantage for the WS?

I believe
that they make the ballot designations based on opening day. Izturis won the starter’s job coming out of Arizona; thus, his name appears.
