Adenhart to SLC; Arredondo Returns
Within the linked article, we learn that Nick Adenhart was sent back down to SLC following last night's win and Jose Arredondo was recalled. Arredondo has been putting up good numbers for the Bees this year. This will be his second stint with the big club this spring, although he has yet to take the mound in a regular season game. The article doesn't say how long he can expect to remain in Anaheim, but another roster move will be necessary before tomorrow's contest because...John "Big Thunder" Lackey will be making his long-awaited 2008 debut tomorrow night!

Addendum
Though there was no mention of it on the team’s website as of the time I created this fanpost (about 3 hours before gametime), apparently Maicer Izturis was also activated from the DL. He even appeared in tonight’s game. Darren O’Day was sent down to AAA to make room for Izturis.
It’s too difficult keeping up with all of these transactions.
It’s really a testament to the organizational depth that the team can make transactions seemingly on a daily basis, all while maintaining a winning record.

so i think.
the final word on the transactions was:
Adenhart to SLC, Lackey activated;
O’day to SLC for Arredondo;
Morales to SLC, Izturis activated.

In effect
though strictly speaking, Arredondo replaced Adenhart, Izturis replaced O’Day, and now Lackey replaces Morales. But your recap summarizes the effective changes.

this may be true.
but i was just listing it by what made since, hence “reliever for reliever,” “starter for starter,” and “bench for bench.”
doesn’t it make for sense that way?

I Realized That
as I was responding, hence my characterization of your list as “effective,” meaning the net effect of the changes were as you described (a starter for starter, reliever for reliever, etc.)
The number and frequency of roster changes in the first six weeks of the season has been dizzying, to say the least.

Good question...
although, Arredondo fills the role of rookie in the ‘pen. So, sounds like he will carry the Bratz backpack during his “cup ‘o coffee.”
Arte, please buy the Angels back from the Red Sox...they've owned us long enough.
