Rex Hudler is going on and on about what a great job Quinlan has been doing for the Angels

on the post game show, then ends it with, “Quinny has a great future playing in the national league someday soon.”

Quinlan

Is a decent, steady, BACKUP player who is happy being a backup. He has also played better than most of our backups. Not they I don’t wish our younger backups would take him out. They havn’t. They way our younger players are performing, is precisley why quinlan is getting so much playing time. I’m glad we have him, and I sure as hell wouldn’t get rid of him just yet.

This guy is a Jeff Davanon who can play infield.

He’s got his moments of brilliance and many moments of suckitude. And that batting swing is just plain awful to look at even when he goes yard.

If only Kendry could play 3rd.

well then i guess if our young guys got more experience

than 1 week at a time, that could happen.
the problem is that they get sent up and down without a chance to get accustomed to MLB pitching, so they suck. if they had ample time to get used to it, as Quinlan did/does, they would outperform him in a heartbeat.

Thanks for pointing that out. The original poster probably didn’t know.

Ah

I knew where his line was from…I just didn’t remember the response line and thought you were genuinely confused.

Now that you've gradumated...

you will start losing touch with hip things/quotes like this…

Arte, please buy the Angels back from the Red Sox...they've owned us long enough.

Don't need a separate diary for this but

Angels won this game about an hour after I finished the last final of my college life. School’s out forever!

Congrats.

Now what?

Sea-at-ha-ha-ha that's funny.

Kudos

So, no graduate school? Time to actually work for a living?

It took me a couple of years to really appreciate it, but there’s three things you get in school that you don’t find in other walks of life: spring, summer and winter breaks!

I paid every last dime out of loans that I have to pay back

for my college education, totaling some ungodly sum unrivaled by very few other college students…so no grad school now, but perhaps in the distant future.

From what I’ve heard, the first couple years out of college aren’t too dissimilar from college itself in that you work a lot, but still have time for bars and…um…’unorthodox’ sexual life styles. We’ll see how true that holds.

For now, it’s off to work the connekshuns to get a job as a P.A. or research assistant at a television show, and work my way up the ladder until someday I’m making hacky sitcoms that draw in 27 million folks a night because the typical t.v. viewer has the IQ of a retard.

Weaver

I don’t think he has top-flight stuff of a No. 1 or No. 2 starter, but for this start, he really showed his ability.

Velocity

when WTY throws his fastball in the 90s, as he did last night, he’s a #2, but not when he throws 88-89, as he has for most of the season. He was throwing 92-93 in Spring Training, so it was nice to see him back to that last night.
