It is turn back the clock night at the Big A. Basically, with the 1971 uniforms on one would hope that the Angels play better than that awful squad. Word on the street is that they will be playing Build Me Up Buttercup before every batter and in between every single inning until a fan is possessed with a white hot rage to kill the stadium disc jockey and/or senior management dolt who came up with the idea to play that bubblegum tripe instead of Take Me Out to the Ballgame. Whoever's idea it was, it was a very unKuhl idea about a very Crapino song, get it?

Let Me Down Buttercup

I hate "Build Me Up Buttercup".
Did management even listen to or read the words.
Its about a LOSER & LOSING!

I have to take a trip to the restroom before that song starts;

I can't find it

but I could have sworn I read about somebody in MLB trying to get the Red Sox now-traditional singing of something other than TMOTTBG into other parks, and you were even allowed one of four hip songs from the 60’s and 70’s! I kinda like “Buttercup”, but yeah, overused.
