Hint:
the blame isnt Krod
Get rid of Quinlan

that game was boring
nobody was especially bad although i would give it to k rod. honorable mention would go to casey for grounding out with the bases loaded in the 8th
I'd rather see Willits in LF

Preposterous
Kotch was 2 for 2 with an RBI double and a bruise on his arm up to that point. If anyone gets an honorable mention it’s Torii and/or Aybar and their collective 0-6, 2 Ks, and 7 LOB.
Aybar needs a day off. Put Izzy at SS and Sean-Rod at 2B for a night.
Please go away Justin Speier. Your work here is done. And take Quinlan's 4 inch fielding radius with you.

Blame - Hunter and Napoli
Two of my favorites. But they get the blame today.
Krod is the obvious choice, but only his first loss of the year.
Young Angels - Proof is in the consistency. But I'll take flashes for now.

k-rod didn't suck
team botg because we didn’t win
brown should have been hit for in the sixth
with the tying run on second
he definetly should not have batted in the eighth
i loved that naps came in for mathis
maybe mike has seen the light
i’m afraid i’ll find out that he came in because mathis pulled a hammy
naps is a better hitter than mathis
anyone (including the pitchers) is a better hitter than brown
brown is a better hitter than wood (now)
no botg, we got beat, by an inferior team, dammit
Q haters have their heads up their collective asses
he’s better than brown and wood
he’s not a better defender, but he’s not an automatic out
brown and wood look like little leaguers in pony ball or travel ball
they both seem to be looking for the tee
Q is not a great major leaguer, but he is a major leaguer
Q haters are surpassed (in stupidity) only by GA haters
do you expect george brett to come off the bench when figgy gets hurt?
i’d prefer rivera or willits over gmj
but gmj makes $10 million a year
i, unfortunatley, do not run this team
gmj will get far more rope to hang himself with than others
deal with it
i don’t think that there should be a botg for every loss
i have never voted for frankie for panther
he’s expected to get three outs w/o a run (or giving up the lead)
but he won’t every time
he could win the cy young award and still have more botg’s here than panthers
let’s get real, sometimes you lose
if hunter had homered after that error
creede would have deserved the white sox botg
someone here voted for casey, two hits and hbp, three times he reached base
BLAME of the game, ridiculous!! (sp?)
it’s not always one person’s fault
sometimes you lose
did everyone on this site go to school after the “self-esteem” revolution?
that’s what organized sports is suppossed to teach
...how to deal with dissapointment
i vote for no botg /or team botg
i hope we can keep that option open for every loss
stop whining, start winning
(yes, i once coached kids)
i hate to see my beloved angels website turn into the new york media
i remember going to ralleymonkey.com after the white sox beat us
all i saw where idiot cws fans who thought they were conin o’brien’s foul-mouthed dog
my opinion, any thoughts?
Who goofed? I've got to know.

Greatest Post!
Loved the part about the “self esteem” revolution. An entire generation (or two) of whiners who actually believed it when they were taught that “everyone is a winner!”. Sorry, that is bullshit and simply not true today, or ever, in the history of mankind. You can’t swing a dead cat without hitting a group of losers in today’s world. Been to the mall lately?? How about Walmart?? Red Sox game??
Personally, I hate the botg bit because it is so negative and it really doesn’t accomplish anything except to give ammunition to people that already hate a particular player or two. OK, so you think Q sucks or GA is lazy….we get it! Don’t need to hear it AGAIN every freakin time they get the botg pinned on them.
This ain’t New York (thank GOD) so maybe we should take a different tack? I am sure we could come up with a better system without all being homers. Just my 2 cents.

So you are a GMJ Hater?
Are you giving him Blame of the Season?

That wasn't half bad
In fact, it was well over half good.
If I say half bad instead of half good, does that mean I have poor self esteem?
Rock on GA and Q!

This is a tough one to choose blame
but I choose the offensive lack of offense and NOT Frankie Rodriguez. That was an honest single run he gave up, something that should be expected to happen every now and then when you take the mound in the 9th.
Arte, please buy the Angels back from the Red Sox...they've owned us long enough.
