Bartolo is back?!?!?!
According to this and some Blogs I read The Red Sux are VERY excited on having Bartman getting a start this week. Makes me wonder just what there qualifications are. The most he has thrown in a game is 68 pitches.
Just goes to show there is someone for everyone.

Shouldn't this be re-titled "Bartolo's Got Back"

With their luck...
he’s going to hurl a no-no.

I have read he is hitting mid 90's
I will believe it when I see it.
Sea-at-ha-ha-ha that's funny.

Last Year
the same thing happened. He was in the low-to-mid 90s, and was able to sustain that for a few starts, but eventually he’d wear down. He has never had his shoulder repaired. He cannot pitch consistently. He can be good for a few starts, then need another 3-4 weeks of rehab, and the cycle repeats itself. There were times when he was good last year. He’ll probably be good a few times this year, but it would be unrealistic to expect more than about 75 good innings from him, and I doubt Boston has different expectations.

The only time Fatalo has hit mid-90s in the last year...
...was in his car racing for a 2 for 1 deal at Krispy Kreme

NO, not a Cy Young award nor helping them to win a division title two years in a row...

Don't get me wrong.....
I was actually very excited on the initial signing and ALL he did at first. Just got a little frustrated with him the last 2 years. I thought there was alot he COULD have done in the off season to help himself and the team out. When a player waits to take corrective measures, for whatever reason, to help his team it is frustrating. So now all I can do is think of what he was and how much more he could have been as an Angels pitcher….......
Not that I wish him ill…but I certainly don’t want him to succeed against us either
