Wow!

This game was teetering on a complete massacre for the Halos.  Bases loaded in the first two innings and getting but one run, the Admiral getting injured in the first inning only to be replaced by a boy named Robb. Frankie doing his best to give all Halo fans a heart attack.  Please volunteer whom you'd like to nominate for Panther of the game:

Panther: John Lackey

It really can't be anyone but Lackey

Not much of a case for anyone else.

Lackey all the way

From the perspective of protecting a lead, I can’t remember a crazier 8th and 9th. Props to SRod for turning an amazing DP in the 7th and fielding another DP very cleanly in the 8th.

Ain't no stoppin' us now. We got the groove!

K-Rod

Was about ready to implode, but you wouldn’t say some of the things [spewn upon Frankie] to some of our other esteemed members of the pitching staff [in any situation].

PANTHER=LACKEY!

7 innings of shutout after 1 bad AB makes this a pantastic start

I wondered why the baseball was getting bigger. Then it hit me.

Panther: Shields and Krod

Hollywood style melodramatics. They must be doing it on purpose!

At least we’re not going to get bored.

Cardiovascular workout without leaving the couch – Priceless.

The new ringer we’ve brought in (Lackey?) is doing ok. But how will he perform in the long run?

Young Angels - Proof is in the consistency. But I'll take flashes for now.

ace- A team' best starting pitcher.

May 18, 2008 - A day that will live in infamy - The LA Dodgers were suddenly and deliberately attacked by Mike Napoli and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Lackey Rules

Should have won the cy young last year. ERA is the most important aspect of pitching.

I am so happy he appears to be his normal self. That is all I ask for.
