Are KCOP's days numbered as an Angels affiliate?

It seems as if KCOP 13 is a poor choice as an Angels affiliate for many reasons previously stated on this board. The rumor I have heard is that KCOP will not carry Angels games next year. It seems that this may potentially solve many out of town issues.

Does anyone have insight into who may be carrying the non-FSN games next year? KCAL would be my first choice. Any other insight?

I hope so

I can’t go a full game on KCOP without the broadcast hanging up or filling the screen with a million little digital artifacts for a few seconds. And every time the game cuts to commercial, a weird high pitch digital gleek is sent through all 5 channels of my surround sound. Annoying and only on KCOP. I groan on days that they’re carrying the game because it means there’s no chance for HD.

The Dodgers are on KCAL no?

For the love of everything good

Please keep the Angels away from KDOC. Their Ducks broadcasts this year were borderline unwatchable. And I’ll protest anything, anywhere, anytime that has anything to do with Pat Boone. That guy’s a f*cking freak and represents everything that’s wrong with this country.
