Just Twisting the Knife
From the Nobody Predicted This Department: I don't know if this illustrates how great Francisco Rodriguez is doing or how badly the Seattle Mariners are playing - or both, or neither - but Halos Heaven poster stuck in Romania pointed out:
Frankie has more saves than the mariners have wins!!! 20-18...

Frankie Saves the day!
And the Angels have the best record of wins on the road with 15 wins and 10 losses in all of baseball.
Twisting the knife on who?
Hapless Mariners fans following a sinking ship of a team or Angels fans who already see Frankie as the former closer of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and haven’t liked him in some time?
oh yeah i forgot
Angel fans can be lumped into one group and one group only and that group is always defined by a negative characteristic.
Give me a fat f’n break, pal.

Yes, that is what I am talking about
Frankie, like Nolan Ryan, pitches at a talent level that cannot be replaced.
I get that you feel K-Rod is underrated man.
I do too. But being bitter and snotty on the few occasions when K-Rod DOES get some props doesn’t help, and isn’t cool.

Looks like
The bookends of Bedard and JJ are doing a great job thus far.
YOU DON'T KNOW THE POWER OF THE DARKSIDE.....
Making his case
KRod is certainly making his case for the money he has already claimed he deserved. Personally, I think we give him what it takes to keep him here. I am not sold on our farm (despite it being good) being ready to replace him. Pay the money.

Frankie
The first and only homegrown Hall of Famer.
Seattle I would like to thank you for sucking. It allows me to get back to my roots: Hating Fremont.
