Excellent outing by Weaver... total Panther
He got into trouble in a couple of innings, but got out of those nicely (and with a little help from GMJ)

Weaver
gets the obvious panther… honorable mention to GMJ and the dr. who performed the endoscopy on weav haha(did i say that right?)
And you can LITE UP THAT HALO !!!

that was some vintage jered
and some vintage GMJ
good game, if a little boring.
Northeastern University Huskies: Mediocre hockey, guaranteed.
Best WIN pic ever
Would read again!
Please go away Justin Speier. Your work here is done. And take Quinlan's half-inch fielding radius with you.

Weaver Panther
Assist to the D. Even if S-Rod and Wood can’t hit, you have to admit that they’ve got solid defense. And Juice was better than usual in Right. Maybe his leg has finally stopped bothering him.

Weaver
Seattle I would like to thank you for sucking. It allows me to get back to my roots: Hating Fremont.
WTY = Panther
and I just want to point out that some of you are way too superstitious…I will try to refrain from citing Panther too early…ie, top 9th, but I really think it simply helped motivate KRod to pitch better! :D
This is bad Vlad and his band of wimps!
Our fanbase believes a monkey on the scoreboard starts rallies.
Respect the superstition man.

do not deny the power of the money

WTY was drafted 13 slots under his first-overall estimate
because of the money demands other teams figured Weaver would make via Boras.
Believe in the power of the money.
Witty .sig goes here.
you saw I meant monkey (rally) and not money, right?
I hope you’re just trying to be funny.

I find your lack of faith disturbing
Do not underestimate the power of the Rally Monkey

Nah, it lines up as pointing to mine.
I checked using the up button before I asked.

In reference to
“Our fanbase believes a monkey on the scoreboard starts rallies.”
Angels fan since '67
But how does that show a lack of faith in the monkey?
I was pointing out to K3YEROUT that no panther before the games over is one of many superstitions Angels fans have, and he should respect them.
~Till the Halo burns out...
Rally Monkeys are easily startled, but they will soon be back and in greater numbers.
Ain't no stoppin' us now. We got the groove!

Jered! Jered! Jered!
Lack of a TV broadcast made this a nerve-wracking game to follow via the ‘net. I had to walk away for the bottom of the 9th, for fear that all those wasted scoring opportunities would come back to haunt the Angels.
You know, the tension level alone from this game would have cleared up whatever was bothering Jered’s stomach.
Ain't no stoppin' us now. We got the groove!
Weaver = Panther
HGH actually had a decent game – though was picked off at first base…
Lil' Weaver did his job
Panther’s got to be HGH. If he doesn’t make that play in the 5th or 9th, who knows where we end up.
Maybe there’s a reason besides a man crush that Sosh keeps trotting him out there.
(Could also make a case for Frankie. I think this was his cleanest save of the year.)
great game for Weaver!
Panther, indeed!
Juice gets an honorable mention, as he had a good game on both sides of the ball
Let Wood play!!!
Ozzie Guillen and Justin Speier
From Bill Plunkett’s blog:
White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen came over at one point and got a look at Speier’s grey-hair-and-glasses getup.
"Hey, Speier — they know who’s pitching like (expletive). They still know it’s you," Guillen said.

god damn asshole
FUCK OZZIE GUILLEN! there, i was saving this, but seriously, guillen is the worst ef’in manager in the MLB. hes also a racist, and a bigot. he is a complete all around asshole douche bag, and i hate the white sox even more for having him as their manager

Take a chill pill
He was just joking and maybe more importantly, telling it like it is.
With numbers like a 0-3, 5.00 ERA so far, what more don’t you want from a multi-million dollar a year relief pitcher
still, he has no right to criticize our pitchers
since his bullpen isnt looking that great either. Also its just ive always hated guillen, and he is just a complete asshole

He is an asshole douche bag
but damn Ozzie was a great shortstop. Just watching that guy take fielding practice was worth the price of a ticket.

wow, what a jackass
that’s not cool, even if Speier’s impression was terrible (which added to the hilarity, i thought).
what a douche bag
Let Wood play!!!

Have to say Weaver pitched great
but til he loses that lame-ass haircut I just can’t consider him panther.
Especially when Juice made a Clemente-esque play in RF in the 5th (best Angels defensive play of the year so far IMHO) with that slide-and-gun on Swisher, plus the great diving grab to end the game.
Just to be contrary (plus I hate all Weaver haircuts), I’m going for Juice.
Don't call me Desmond
Or maybe Alfredo Marquez
... any ump who tosses both Ozzie and AJ is OK in my books. Go Travellers on Sunday!

Surely that's similar to "gay-ass haircut?"
In the words of AC/DC: We roll tonight... to the guitar bite... and for those about to rock... I salute you.

Well ...
... I wasn’t going to go there, but since you did, Aase, it sure is a gay-ass haircut.
But I live in Scotland, so I’m not gonna tell WTY that to his face.

Poor Ozzie
It just go to show MLB is an equal oppertunity employer. If MLB doesn’t employ the mentally ill, who will?
Young Angels - Proof is in the consistency. But I'll take flashes for now. Note to woods: Please flash me. Now is your chance.
