What a great start to the day
Waking up, stumbling to the computer, and catching the 9th inning where, get this, SRod (who everyone says can’t deal with MLB pitching), Izzy, and HGH (Mr. HIDP) put us over the top. Great Win. So stoked for the day now.

thats hard to say, and probably wont happen, after tonight’s game
I'd rather see Willits in LF
Ervin! CG win, saves the bullpen.
FSN Detroit is giving Magic big props.
Ain't no stoppin' us now. We got the groove!
Also want to point out that with this win, we win this series against Detroit.
The Hunt for a Red October ...and please keep telling Clutch to chill!
Great point...
while satisfied, it might be nice to bring out a broom tonight.

Panther: Scoscia
it took him 8 innings to realize the secret to winning is getting brandon wood out of the lineup, but he finally figured it out
maybe its not getting Wood out,
but getting Reggie in
Let Wood play!!!

how sick is our rotation right now....
unbelievable… as crappy as the O has been… you have to still be stoked that our starters are going 7-8-9 innings giving up 3 runs or less
And you can LITE UP THAT HALO !!!
by BigBangRobbDawgg on May 27, 2008 9:38 PM PDT reply actions
i think we have the lest worked bullpen in the bigs
good problem to have
I'd rather see Willits in LF
if if this keeps up we should give all of our starters the day off
and let the entire bullpen split up a game. that would be fun
I'd rather see Willits in LF
haha
talk about an up and down game if that were to ever happen

i root for teams that lack offense! go halos and bills!
by norcaliangelsfan on May 27, 2008 9:44 PM PDT reply actions
um.
the picks were what bullpen pitchers were NOT going to pitch tonight.
so we all got 3 points as long as we made picks.
"Here we go baby, 'bout f***'n' time!"
this is funny.

i have a feeling june will be much kinder offensively
howie, figgy should add some spark.
and vlads gotta turn it on for good at some point, right? I remember him being miserable 2 seasons ago going into july and then he finally woke up. lets hope that starts in june this year

i hope you're right

rest of the league has to be pissed
our enemic offense sputters and we’re still winning. can’t wait to get howie and figgy back.
speaking of...
im sure glad BBTN updates EVERY EFFING PLAY during a sawx game.
man they piss me off…
they literally talked about manny’s homers while Angels highlights were starting to play

HH is complaining about the lack of offense.....buy Leyland isn't too happy with the Tigers.
I guess he was pretty annoyed with the post-game interviewer. He belched TWICE during the interview. LMAO!
Ain't no stoppin' us now. We got the groove!
can you blame him?
that was supposed to be the best offense…. ever.
Let Wood play!!!

mr moe is not on their side
i root for teams that lack offense! go halos and bills!
by norcaliangelsfan on May 27, 2008 9:54 PM PDT up reply actions
he has to be twice as frustrated with his under performing offense as we are
I'd rather see Willits in LF
that team is weird
i dont see them being good for long.
sheffield is like 80, magglio is due for another injury. miggy is clinically obese. dontrelle willis is still dontrelle willis.
and their farm will be pretty pricey.
that trade was seriously a curse it seems.

i was thinking that same thing

Santana
Best Angels game of the year, because:
Santana gave up an early dinger. Oh,Oh, is he collapsing? Was his great early season start a fluke? Proceeds to totally destroy the kittens.
Even with Santana’s performance, no way the Angels can come back the way the offense is perfoming. AND GMJ GETS THE W.O.! HOLLY COW (copywrite HH).
DId I mention the D and Hunters diving catch?
Angels Defense. Angels Pitching. Get past that.
My thoughts exactly
If he does this a few more times people will not be able to question his mental make up
Seattle I would like to thank you for sucking. It allows me to get back to my roots: Hating Fremont.
I think he's mentally sound NOW...
did you see his ENGLISH interview with Jose Mota yesterday on the post-game show? It was pretty good. He was not perfect, but I was impressed at his attempts to convey his answers in English. This guy has really one-eightied from last year.
His mound presence and home-road split discrepancies are also much, much improved this year. Scioscia deserves some kudos for sticking with him and not wavering in his support of Ervin.

Go back to last year when Santana was'nt pitching so well.
When he is’nt doing so good he refuses interviews or only does them in Spanish through interpreter. Now that he is having the great success on the mound he is happy to do interviews and speak in English which he has always been able to do. It is all what Ervin is in the mood to do.
I thought the interview was great and showed off his new found confidence. Ervin’s successful comeback is one of the great plusses for the Angels this season.
He thought he was treated unfairly by the media
That is why he boycotted english last year
Seattle I would like to thank you for sucking. It allows me to get back to my roots: Hating Fremont.
He thought his words were being misinterpreted.

Humility at its best........
"It seems like I’ve made some contributions, had some big RBIs," said Matthews, who is hitting just .217 but has driven in 28 runs.

I happen to like GMJ...
and I hope he breaks out of his funk, just like the rest of the offense (see Black Hole and Vlad Guerrero)

TMI from Jim Leyland...
Leyland said Carlos Guillen has been shifted from 3B to DH because Guillen has a bad case of hemorrhoids. Guillen made two errors in the opening game of the three-game set in Anaheim. Inge started at third Tuesday.
