Most Wins in Baseball
The Angels have the MOST wins in baseball with 32! At 10 games over .500 we are mere percentage points behind the Rays for the best record in baseball (.593 - .596)...
Of course the best part of this is that now - since we have the same record as the Boston Red Sox - it is certain that ESPN will be showing an equal number of Angel highlights, Angel updates and news about every time an Angel scratches his jock or goes to get a beer from the corner liquor store, let alone calls a press conference to say he will not be holding press conferences to discuss his awesome season - and of course, endless fan reactions and expert opinions (and panels, gotta have panels of experts) to discuss the press conferences, jock scratches and even the results of the games.
Equal time has arrived, right?

Let Wood play!!!
Chris Berman says hello
He killed the Sunday version. I hate him.
Seattle I would like to thank you for sucking. It allows me to get back to my roots: Hating Fremont.

Shit
they did a whole segment on how crappy the Skankees have become. them when that was finished the completed the day with how great BledSux arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
For me its FSW, HH, and the inertubes for me Halo info.
espn is a joke
just realize that they are a local northeastern station
don’t watch, i don’t
foxsports.com is just as bad
how many daily stories on arod’s return did they do?
one a day for a week until he did
fox at least has the sense to market to individual teams
ie. fsn
remember when we couldn’t get coverage on our own local stations?
keep it in perspective, it’s better now than before
the rev, fellow HHers, and even the official site is more than we ever had before
televised national recognition comes with a ring
it’s better not to be the media darling anyway, smaller target
although, i visited the detroit version of HH after our 12 inning game
we had over 1500 posts, they had 120-150
the post i remember about us (angels) was “those guys scare me”
every team knows who’s good
the only prob ‘bout not getting our props is:
the players won’t get the endorsements(sp?)
as i usually do, i have rambled
let me re-state my comment
screw national coverage
we got all the coverage we need
the only problem is a free agent may wish to sign with boston or new york(s) because of potential endorsement deals
hit the glove – out
Who goofed? I've got to know.

thank you
i think
the reason i comment like this is
some people like to make the type larger
125 – 200%
then they have to scroll to the right
then back to the left (to the left, to the left)
see, i’m hep too, to the random song lyrics
texting (i think that’s what the kids call it) doesn’t follow the normal sentence structure
(sorry, gramma, if that line was too long)
ergo, i replace punctuation with new lines
some reply to me by asking if my comment
was a hi koo
well i don’t speak french
but hi koo you too…
...and the horse you road in on
Who goofed? I've got to know.
that's awesome.
one of the reasons i love this blog. another reason is bilko 420. we haven’t had a Bilko sighting in a while…Bilko, if you’re out there, i could use a funny picture to laugh at.
much appreciated.
Halos Fan Since 5th Grade
I like Bilko's links

It is good to be on top of the pile
Maybe if we are .667 and everyone else is sub .600, then we get Arod coverage.
Maybe.
Angels Defense. Angels Pitching. Get past that.
Television coverage? Pfft.
Paris Hilton gets more T.V. coverage than Daniel Day Lewis. Doesn’t make her a better actor.

i dont care about the most wins during the season......
I only care about winning the “LAST” game of the entire season….
i root for teams that lack offense! go halos and bills!

A good way to make sure that you win the "LAST" game
is to win a lot of games DURING the season.

yeah, especially if you don’t make the playoffs

I turned on ESPN at 2:23AM...
and the first image I see is Manny hitting a 3-run homer.
The next images I saw were the Celtics.
I turned it off and decided to read HH for Angels news.
"At some point, a veteran player will more often than not find his stroke. You just have to show them a little bit of patience."
And the best part....
The Angels have kept winning without Lackey, MySpace, Kendrick, Figgins, and Aybar.
What other team could do what the Angels have done without their #1 and #2 starters and starting 2b, 3b and SS for much of the season?
Mike Sciossia for MOY.
During last night's game...
during a commercial break I switched over to ESPN to see if any of my fantasy players were kicking ass as usual ( Josh Hamilton) when they showed the Red Sox score in the FIRST inning. It was a SCORELESS game and right after the score they show “M. Ramirez 0-0.”
He's on a 500-HR countdown...
somehow, the media thinks Griffey’s quest of 600 is “ho-hum” news, but to me, that’s much, much more exciting than Manny’s 500-quest.

ah.
Just like in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off:
Ed Rooney (wipes face): What’s the score?
Pizza clerk: Nuthin’-nuthin’
Rooney: Who’s winning?
Pizza clerk (sarcastically): THE BEARS!

This is valid and BS
The media should celebrate what looks to be a clean ballplayer.

Send them to the great park.
