MLB cant tell the difference

On the Angels official website,   http://losangeles.angels.mlb.com/index.jsp?c_id=ana

the section just below the top right side usually has highlights of the days  Angels game, as it is on all the other teams websites. only one problem: as of 5/3/08, there were DODGER highlights in that box. get it straight MLB, our owner has done enough with our name crisis.

Wow just wow

the line in the sand is drawn – What kind of dumbshit cannot understand a team’s name? The name of this team is not rocket science so you must be a special kind of dumbshit to not call this team by their name.

Understand that Oakland is going to be either the San Jose A’s of Fremont or they are going to be the New Orleans Athletics or the Portland Athletics.

The noise and static you hear from that highlights box is very annoying.

What a way to be greeted to your home team site. No sport fan should give MLB.com a penny until they get their sh#t together in more areas than one.

Some bonehead flunky at ESPN keyed in the wrong digits

They tend to tag files for Dodgers with the prefix “LAD” and for Angels with the old-school “ANA”, however, I’ve noticed a few “LAA” prefixes in some of the code for some files. So some twat keyed in LAD and we get Dodgers highlights on our own website.

I admit it sucks, but I have to blame Arte in the long run for the whole name-change fiasco. I was quite happy with us being the Anaheim Angels to be honest; however, I’m still and always will a big supporter of CALIFORNIA ANGELS.

Don't call me Desmond

check out the teams value

Arte is a genius and getting the Los Angeles name back, the franchise’s original name, has helped tremendously. yeah, the “of anaheim” is lame but i have no problem with the Los Angeles name.
