Tuesday @ KC Game Thread
Los Angeles Angels at Kansas City Royals, May 6, 2008 5:10 PM PDT
That Fifth Starter position that was going to be such a killer has been alright (we are 2-4 in those games), all things considered.
There's one for you, nineteen for me

GMJr.
I think I need to rant about him more often; seems that’s the only time he ever does anything productive, as I pine for more ABs for Juan Rivera.

do the coaches hate home runs?
is that why Napoli doesnt play?
im convinced that our guys are getting punished for power… thats why Vlad’s homers are down, and Napoli doesn’t get any ABs

While I LOVE Napoli, I also LOVE Mathis. Mathis calls a better game, has way better defense, and it shows. I think Mathis is the better catcher!

Physioc did want to let Torii Hunter's Double interrupt hsi stroy about Satchel Paige
Sucha terrible announcer. Rory and Rex, PLEASE. Physioc sounded exasperated as ll hell that Torii had hit that Double
by Rev Halofan on May 6, 2008 6:07 PM PDT reply actions 0 recs
I was baffled
by the Fanpost from the guy whose family actually likes Physioc. This is a prime example of why he’s just so bad. He does that ALL THE TIME!

it just seems sometimes that GA
doesnt swing as hard as other players, but managed so get such good wood on it to send it flying, thats why its cool to see.

I just joined the gameday thread
I agree that something seems wrong with Vlad, him swinging and MISSING (as opposed to fouling off) 88 mph fastball right down the middle seems very very very odd.

Napoli could hit 30 homers, and he’s shown in years past the ability to call a good game.

with GA’s last 2 homers, he’s been holding onto the bat all the way through his swing.
is that the secret to his hitting and not sucking anymore?

Yeah
Despite the fact that he was pretty good last year, and has been surprisingly clutch this year-
It really is Stoneman’s worst signing. But then I remember that he kept Kotch, Kendrick and Santana when people said he shouldn’t, signed Vlad and Escobar, etc. You can’t knock ‘em all out of the park.

yea I'm as big of Napoli supporter as they come
