Shit

Just got here. Is Shields dealing this much or are we just taking horrible hacks?

Shields is dealing pretty well

AND we’ve taken some bad hacks.

Thanks zu

Just got MLB.TV on … Garland looks like he’s still pretty strong …

Gross get a double.

Time to get Oliver out there.

Hey

our [real] hitting coach is now pinch-running!

by jjackflash on May 9, 2008 6:05 PM PDT reply actions

Dammit!

8-pitch leadoff double. Shit!

And Nate Haynes is pinch-running. Desmond needs to trip him up!

Haynes in.

Fix our lineup Nathan!

Why is Speier not out there yet?

Shields' changeup is God-like

and his control is outstanding. That’s why he’s so tough. Yeah, his fastball doesn’t blow you away (although he can get it up to 94-95 in rare occasions) but he locates it well and that changeup is just so good it more than makes up for it.

I was thinking our best chance was if Q just sat his fat ass on top of Haynes

We're not going to sign him back again.

We have too many young pitchers for it to make sense. Adenhart’s not ready yet, but by next year he will be.

12 innings at this pace

Angels in 08!

by tanana40 on May 9, 2008 6:14 PM PDT reply actions

No Kidding

If there’s a 10th inning, I would expect to see him back out there. Only 92 pitches.

Technically, when Northwest and I step out for smokes ...

... all we really do is hurt ourselves, but I’ll try to take out Shields. Maybe a foul ball will get him in the dugout.

He’s weakening though. Wood and Juice both smoked it pretty good.
