Happy Father's Day
to all of the HH dads. (and even to Rev who seems to have collected his share of kiddies)
I hope you all have a great relaxing day enjoying what you love to do...watching the Angels WIN!
My dad wasn't big into baseball. He enjoys the games but isn't obsessed with them. He did coach my softball team one year (which is actually where my ID comes from...it was the team name). He actually thinks it's funny that I'm even a participant on this site!
So have a happy day & enjoy the kiddies. They grow up way too fast.

Thanks for the thoughts
I will be alone for Father’s Day. The wife took the kids to see the grandparents for the week. My wife said that my Father’s Day present is to relax and do whatever I feel like. So I will take the rare opportunity to watch the Angels on TV tomorrow night.

One of these
days I will make it out for a game, and will let you know that I am coming, as I would like to meet everyone that I can.

Mrs. red floyd is taking me to the Big A tomorrow to watch the Halos spank the Braves. F107 if anyone’s there. I’ll be wearing an Erstad T-Shirt.

Your FIRST father's day and you have 3 kids?
So you knocked out triplets sometime between June 2007 and June 2008? Wow, congrats, man!

Panther, ladybug
I had a great Father’s Day … got to throw the baseball around with my 3.5-year-old son who is probably the only kid who played baseball today in all of Scotland! And had a chance to ring my own old man in Michigan.
And my boy bought me a nice card and a jar of cheesy jalapeno nacho sauce, which I shall enjoy tonight watching the end of the US Open and the Angels.
All the HH dads I’m sure appreciated your post. Cheers

My wife was out of town on business so I took the Li’l Dude to Disneyland for 7 hours followed by the game (Upper View, but row A, so decent seats). He’s horribly neglected.

I'm so sad...
My oldest son, who is three, loved going to the games and stadium last year. This year, my wife, youngest son (1), him and myself went to a game, and my wife thought it would be cool for him to stand on the wall near the grass, so he could see the players up close during practice.
However, he got the idea that we wanted to actually put him ON the field and grass.. Ever since, he doesn’t want to go to a game anymore even though he loves watching it on TV, and his entire room is full of Angels stuff. He keeps on saying “No on the grass… the grass is for the Angels!”.
We just moved to Irvine and as it turns out, we have three Angels players living in the same apartment community. So now he can see them up close anyway, so who know, maybe he will want to go again soon :-) For now, however, I’m just sad he doesn’t like going to the stadium anymore.
